Not to burst some people's bubbles...but just going off analogues is going to decrease any respiratory illnesses clearly :p
Yes, that is most certainly a confounding variable, but it doesn't invalidate the data yet.

And it doesn't explain why so many vapers not only no longer get sick...
But no longer get sick when other's all around them are getting sick.

I know you are more than likely just joking, but just in case you aren't aware......flu shots are TERRIBLE for you. They are made from animals, and contain trace amounts of heavy metals, pus, blood, mucus, etc. You can research it yourself.

I've known many people to get very sick from flu shots....and thousands across the globe have been completely paralyzed from them. Some have developed auto immune diseases from them. Use at your own risk.

Personally, I wont go NEAR them. They are a gimick, as a healthy person should be able to come into minimal contact with the flu virus, and not get it. And if you do get it, your body uses the opportunity to cleanse itself. Not a bad thing.

I wont let my children get flu shots, and now all the schools are pushing them hard core. Agenda to the max.

This of course is just your opinion. Which you're entitled to but shouldn't be stated as fact.

Well, I don't even tell my doctor about this because it sounds very spurious of course, cure for the common cold and all, but in the 3+ years that I've been vaping I can count on the fingers of one hand the times that I've had just the beginning of a cold - and these all dematerialized almost immediately. Zero chest colds, zero bronchial infections, zero sinus infections, zero. I suffered from all of those with normal regularity previously - was particularly susceptible to bronchitis. Some of that had to do with smoking, of course, but ZERO now?

I've had some doozie stomach flus but way fewer. Two, I think.

I chain-vape, probably inhabit something akin to the atmosphere those monkeys were subject to in the study. If it's ever gonna do anything awful, I'll be among the first to know. So far I feel like a million bucks.

I have been vaping for almost 2 years now. The first two weeks I quit I came down with a flu that put me in bed for two weeks literally. I used to be sick at least twice a year in bed for a week which isn't easy on the paycheck situation. I have not been sick since -not even a cold or sinus infection. I have to attribute it to vaping since there have been no other changes. I use 70/30 pg/vg mix and I don't care what anyone says it has to have beneficial properties.

Wife was sick last week, baby is sick this week. I'll keep you posted. Normally I would have gotten sick by now. I won't say it 'prevents' airborne viruses and bacteria; however, it logically makes sense, based on the PG studies, that it would help prevent you from getting infected. I'll keep you posted on if I get sick and for how long if I do.

Pulled this from Health New Zealand: Safety Report on the Ruyan® e-cigarette Cartridge and
Inhaled Aerosol

Inhalational safety in children. In a series of experiments to control airborne infections, over 105 children were subjected to bactericidal concentrations of propylene glycol in the wards of a children’s convalescent home in experiments conducted over 3 years.

Method. Six wards of the Children’s Seashore House in Atlanta containing 105 bedfast children aged 3 to 15 years were divided into 3 control and 3 undergoing vaporization for 3 week periods with 2 to 3 days between, before the control wards become vaporized, and the vaporized wards became controls. This rotation continued for 7 months. The PG was heated to vaporize it, but not above 80 degrees C, and vaporization continuously maintained a concentration of 0.069 mg per liter. (0.07 ppm)

Results. No ill effects were reported. In the first year, 100 infections occurred in control wards without PG, and 5 in wards with PG vaporization, with rates of 0.18 per week and 0.09 per week respectively. Most of the upper respiratory infections in control wards were common colds, suggesting the PG is also virucidal.
