I know that my results are atypical, but I used to regularly come down with a cold or the flu (usually 2 or 3 each winter, and a "summer cold" was fairly common), but I haven't had a single illness since I started vaping in Oct '09. I don't believe it's coincidence, but I have no idea if it's related to vaping, just a result of NOT inhaling 3 packs of cig smoke every day, or a combination of the two.

I've experienced a similar change for the better in my health this year. I've been vaping since last fall and didn't experience my usual spate of 2 or 3 episodes of brutal bronchitis over the winter. I was one of the few at my workplace who didn't get sick.

I did finally come down with a nasty virus this spring---but it didn't go into my lungs and it cleared up in less than a week. I have the same questions you do: is it the PG or the fact that I'm no longer brutalizing the cilia in my lungs with tar etc or 'a combination of the two'? Whatever the cause--even if it's dumb luck-- I'm grateful.
