There are lots of mods out there and it seem that the people on here who don't have a mod and are looking to get one always ask 'Which one should I get?' Or 'What is the best mod?'

And it seem like everyone who has one will most likely recommend the one they have.

There are many mods and you will get many different answers.

I am currently using a mod called the Indulgence from Eastmall.net

I recommend it, because I love it and its what I use, but it may not be the on for you.

Mods come in different shapes and sizes and you may want to compare convenience over whatever budget you have to spend on one (If you only have only a certain amount of money to spend on a mod).

For me...I would still prefer some of the cheaper mods over those really expensive ones. A mod to me is an investment, it is something I am going to use for a long time and I want to last a long time.

For more info on mods I recommend this thread.

Very sound advice posted above. That link is a "must see" in my opinion.

I'd like to add this; If you haven't tried 5v or higher yet, you may want to consider getting a 5v passthrough and a 5v, 2A AC to USB adapter to see if 5v is what you'll like. For ~$25 for both, it's a very worthwhile investment.

Personally, I'm quite happy with 3.7v and feel that 5v or higher is too much for me. However, I DO have some low resistance atty's that I use on my eGo for those times that I'm craving a real cig. The low resistance atty's "simulate" the 5v vaping experience.

Now, if I were in the market to buy a mod, I would most likely go with the Silver Bullet. It just looks beautiful to me and an 18650 battery will last a couple days between charges. Not to mention I have yet to see anyone report problems with theirs. I imagine that big battery coupled with a low resistance atty would be quite the vaping machine. :2c:

I can safety say that that combination is a knock out:headbang:
I spent a lot of time studing and compairing, finally came down to the switch and build quality. (and the fact that I got a good price on a used one!)

Technically, you can run the Silver Bullet at 6v with the right batteries but it isn't recommended. It's not recommended in most any mod which is why there are very few 5v and up mods available. Stacking Li-Ion batteries can be risky business.

This is why the LR (low resistance) atty's started being produced to simulate higher voltage vaping without the risk of battery problems.

There is good reviews on the new V3 from pure smoker and the P18 that is on it's way from SuperT. Why those 2 models?

The're the only 2 models presently out there that are "all mechanical". These two models can be easily repaired by anyone in the comfort of their own homes. Both are capable of 3.7, 6 or 7V. (although I am not sure on the 7V for the V3)
