they are the same ones from the south summit store are they not?
Same ones, south summit carries both of them.

I think they were lazy making pics, and the web master for south summit was lazy by just using their pics.

Both packs look the same so they just took one pic I bet. Only difference is the CR2 is a little smaller.

does anyone know if the mah rating has anything to do if its higher? cuz regular energizers from walmart are not vaping as good on 6V in the BB as it is on the SB with CR123's!8-o
If your BB is not performing well, please see this thread. It seems that there are some that have overspray from the powder coating inside the base of the battery compartment. This may be preventing a clean connection. I cleaned mine out and it improved the performance quite a bit.

what did you use to clean it out with. I've heard people say they used a wire brush... just wondering what other alternatives could be used.

Just heard back from South Summit. These batteries are 200mAh.

Pete,

Sorry for the delay, I needed to look up the information from the
manufacturer.

The CR2 rechargeable is 3.2 volt with 200mAh (Lifepo4 with 2,000
cycle life)
The battery is 1" long and 1/2" wide.

I used the bore brush from my gun cleaning kit:) Could also use sand paper wrapped around a dowel:)

Okay, thanks Rimp. I might try the sand paper, a scrub sponge, or iron wool or something since I don't have a gun cleaning kit. ;)

Also, with regards to these LiFePO4 CR2's (which I ordered & am psyched). Since they're 3.2V we're gunna be vaping at pretty high voltages huh? Especially since LiFe chemistries tend to produce higher voltages fresh off the charger. :p Ooh-ahhh! 8-o Guess I'll find good use for my 801 adapter & atty to numb it down a bit. I forget how high a LiFe rcr123a 3V is off the charger but I know it's higher than 3V. I wonder just how high 3.2V'll be?:evil::evil::evil:

Does anyone have any idea of about how long they may last as compared to the CR123a 700mah?
My "guess" would be about as long as a standard 510 battery which is 180mAh I believe. Still, if we can vape at 6v with a safe chemistry battery, I'm ok with that. As much as I'd like to use those 700mAh unprotected CR2's, I'm just not gonna do it!

I've been using CR2 disposables for 6 days now and nothing has happened as of yet! yeah its costing me more money but I have not run across anything remotely unusual and I do heavy vaping! just my opinion though!

Big difference between disposables and rechargables.

That said, I've got some unprotected cr2s on the way from DX. We shall see...

I will admit the one desirable thing the non-protected's have going for them is the higher mAh rating. Disposables are a crap shoot in every possible way (with exception, perhaps, to ease of availability), they're way taxed$$!!$, one time use, & seem to have low lifespans (mAh), & they're god-aweful for the environment unless you jump through hoops trying to recycle them properly.

Got some of the batts posted here from South Summit.

Good news, they are CR2s and not RCR123.

Bad news is the charger is a joke. Looks like it was designed for CR123s, but instead of providing adapter slugs, they just put ridiculously loooong springs in it. Wait til you folks try to get the batteries to stay in there. It's like some sort of weird booby trap waiting to fling batteries at you

Let us know how long these 200mAh' CR2's last you in the BB, will ya? I'm curious. I ordered 6 myself, hoping that is enough for a days rotation at least...
