I actually thought I had slipped by on this credit fraud fiasco as I watched my account closely and nothing popped up. My last purchases for vape stuff were from AVE on Jan 2nd and Mar 14th. Unfortunately, 2 days ago a mysterious charge for 60.96 popped up from christianmingle.com. I left work early, rushed to the bank and canceled my debit card and called the number on the statement for that site. They said it had already been flagged as fraud and it wouldn't officially be charged to me as it was still pending...but I got my eye on it anyway. Has anyone else experienced issues related to this still or am I the only one who was dumb enough to not bother canceling my card since nothing had been charged yet? I'm kinda kicking myself in the ... now for not just getting a new card just in case but I guess you live and learn. Anyway, just a heads up to anyone who may have thought they were in the clear, it looks like we should still pay close attention for a while just in case, or just go ahead and get a new card.

Yeah, I learned my lesson. Thankfully I got off easy compared to some. I only had to pay a 15 dollar replacement fee for my debit card, I suppose it could have been a great deal worse. Especially considering I was using my debit card and they could have easily cleaned out my entire account. That charge is still sitting there for 60 bucks though, hopefully it will go away soon, its a constant reminder of my own careless behavior. On a side note, I put in a ticket with AVE concerning the matter and it says it was viewed but I never got a response. Anyone know if there is something wrong with the ticket system over there? Their customer service is usually pretty stellar.

When I checked bank account on sunday, 4/14, I found a $39.99 purchase to 'jdate.com' (a Jewish dating website) and just as you said, when I contacted jdate.com on monday, 4/15, they had already flagged it as fraud and this morning, 4/16, they have the money back in my account. I got a new card today just to be safe.

Still no word from AVE on my ticket, I'm hearing people got a response pretty quickly a month ago though. Did I miss the deadline for an apology or something? Ben stated everyone effected would get a personal response on the issue and apparently that came with a time limit. I feel like I at least deserve a response/apology and it shouldn't matter much that they didn't decide to use my card until a few weeks after they stole it. Whats the deal guys? I know your better than this...
