If your evods are cracking, leaking and discoloring you could have an acidic or corrosive liquid. the evod tip is really tough but is not so tough with corrosives. The DBox has a removable drip tip and is basically an evod but it is made of the same plastic, the tip wouldn't break but the rest of it might if the cause is your liquid.

Maybe go with glass like the protank mini II

Just as an FYI: I've had 2 EVODs crack at the clear tip part, but only after several months of use. If you look closely at the construction, you will see that there is a very small part of the tip, where the metal tube ends inside the tip, that has thin walls. It's not a big deal since nothing is made to last forever, and I get a lot of use out of them before I have to replace them.

I've been trying out the Kanger Mini Protank II, non-drip tip version, and I'm not crazy about the threading that connects the bottom metal cylinder to the main body of the tank. It clamps the coil onto the main body, so it has to be removed every time you refill the tank. In my opinion the threading is too fine and not very well machined. So when you refill the tank, you have to be very careful not to damage the threading. The threading is also not deep enough, so even before you have the threading lined up you have to push down on it to compress the rubber bushing where the coil meets the main interior stem of the tank.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Or is there a trick that makes this easier? Has this been addressed with the new drip tip version? I see that it is now available from discountvapers.com.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
I cannot edit the original post, but want to clarify.
MT3s/T3s coils come in the WHITE box
ProTank/Evod coils come in the BLACK box.
They usually come with a sticker on the side indicating which, but sometimes these fall off.

Hi bcme,

There is alot of information on the Clearomizer thread in the Forum pertaining to each of these clearomizers and their part interchangeability, so you can do a search for these terms.

In the meantime, here is a quick rundown of the coils we carry and their interchangeability:

Kanger is making their ProTank/EVOD coils interchangeable; and their MT3s/T3s are interchangeable, but not between the two groups. The primary difference between an MT3s/T3s coil and a ProTank/eVod coil is that one has a slightly higher inner sub post (.5mm) which prevents the PT/evod coils from "fitting" 100% on MT3s/T3s.

MT3s/T3s Coils work on MT3s/T3s.
You may be able to get away with using a ProTank/EVOD coil in your MT3s or T3s, but they are not specifically designed for it and, therefore, we do not advertise them as being interchangeable in that way.

ProTank Coils work on ProTanks, Evods, Dube, Dbox, DVBCC, Vision Victory, Davides (regular and Mini)
Protank and ProTank II use the same coils.

Evod Coils work on ProTanks, EVODs, Dube, Dbox, DVBCC, Vision Victory, Davides (regular and Mini)

We only sell two kinds of coils: "MT3s/T3s" and "ProTank & EVOD."
MT3s/T3s coils come in a black box WHITE, ProTank & EVOD come in a white BLACK box.

Hope this isn't too confusing!

I want to get a drip atomizer to try new ejuice without filling a tank. Have not dripped before, and will only use to test juice. Looking at 510 bridgeless atomizer. Will that work for a newby? What ohm would you recommend, as I generally use a vamo mod or a vv vision spinner. Thanks:unsure:--Bo

Yes.
I would go for 2.4 myself, I use the to test flavors and they work well on any battery.

WOW!!! Ordered on Tues. the 22nd and received this morning in Iowa. Incredible service and delivery. Thanks. Trying out the 510 bridgeless atomizer and it works very well. Question? I use the needle tip caps on my juice, so the drips are much smaller. How many drips from a regular cap do you use, and how can you tell when you need to put more juice in? Don't want to burn up the coil. :toast:--Bo

Not 100% sure but with tiny drops it's probably about 10, just don't fill higher than the coil :)
you can tell when the vapor gets low, but you will get the hang of it in no time.

510 Bridgeless Atomizer - Stainless - 2.0ohm
I purchased the 510 Bridgeless Atomizer - Stainless - 2.0ohm, order number . I wasn’t able to securely thread it into my Ego. It would thread in enough to fire but was very loose. Loose enough that it was very awkward to get a drip tip on or off without removing it. Looking at it, one of the vent holes was in the right place just above the threads, the other hole was punched in the threads making a rough spot, making impossible to thread the atomizer in enough to make it secure.
By the way the ARO Pyrex are fantastic, haven't touched my mini protank, they feel solid and hold plenty of juice. Must get MORE!

I keep my old coils to clean, dry burn and rewick with new flavor wicks. I accidently mixed up some old aro coils with some T3s coils. I can't tell them apart. Put a new t3s coil into an aro tank and it seems to fit nicely, but did not try it with juice. Will the t3s coil work on the aro, and will the aro coil work on the t3s tank? I know the aro won't work on the pro tank or evod, just curious about the t3s compatibility. Thanks---Bo :?:

When did your website add a handling charge to orders? What is this charge based on?

Thanks!

thanks for pointing that out, there is not supposed to be anything for handling there.
I removed it, I would imagine it was part of an update we got a few days ago.

Note:
if anyone got that, let me know, I'll credit it back.
