This had me scratching my head too. The stealth version was a no brainer but the rest of them? If they had a focus group that led them towards choices like skulls and that abstract mud slinger they should have their ears boxed. They have literally scores of peeps here in this humble lil forum that might have been able to provide some great input. I'm staring at those skulls thinking someone on the mothership needs to remember their demographics. All that aside, I'm a true happy camper over my soon to be delivered Stealth version! [emoji485]

I take no one has gotten a shipping notice? Just curious. They got the first round our pretty fast. I am sure they are making them as they are ordered. Hell it is not even for me and I am still excited to see the end result.

No, to my knowledge no shipping notices have been sent and yes, they are built to order. That's what "customize" is all about. I used the "red phone" and was told shipping should commence next week. I'm anxious to see mine too!

And you did a right nice job. Yes you did!

I am so completely opposite from you guys. I loved my 2.5's. I did. But I have none left. I sold one and gave one away. For me, the P3 was [is] so much better and the Radius even better and more user friendly. Now my P3 is backup to my Radius and soon will be backup to backup to my 2nd Radius. I love the menu system personally.

I have several of each, so I guess I'm qualified to say all of them are very good, and I use all three daily. But the P3 does beat the others in away-from-home use for me because of the battery indicator. I'm running 50-50 juice at nine watts in a Kabuki with a metal tank on a P3 Ti in 18350 mode. When the battery says 20%, I stop and grab another one. I've been doing this every workday for three or months and only burned coil, and that's because I wasn't paying attention. I also like the battery tester in the P3.

There was someone talking about the durability of the finish... Like very very durable. As durable as the Satin finish. Meaning it's as hard as the metal under it and doesn't scratch or chip. And looks darn nice too. I haven't seen one in person but some folks rave about how it looks.

But remember, I also have a Stealth ti p3, a black 2.5 mini, a black p3, a midnight blue radius, and now a Stealth Radius, 2.5 mini zenkote, and p3 zenkote on the way!

So... I have all the options... If i were choosing just 1, I'm not sure if I'd go zenkote mainly due to the fact that I assume it will show fingerprints and be slippery when wet. Haha. But I'm looking forward to it.

The blem standard black p3 is there in the specials as well. If you want a "Daily device" I'd go with that one! Or a Radius.. But you could go zenkote Gunmetal as a daily device that will take a beating better than the black ceramic coat...

Well that was a lot of rambling. Not sure if it helped.

Your mention of the satin finish reminds me that yesterday I dropped one on my ProVaris on something other than carpet. I was getting back in the car at Walgreens and some how (one has to work at being a clumsy as I am) knocked a P3 out of the cupholder on the door. I was on a slight hill so the P3 just rolled and rolled until it got caught by the wheel of another car. It was a satin black P3 with a Kabuki and a metal tank. Zero major damage with just a tiny scratch on the tank. I was amazed.

I have 2 P3's and in my opinion, they are not very good subohm mods unless you plan to use a 0.8-0.9ohm coil.

If the P3 consistantly could do 20w with a 0.5ohm coil, I would be estatic... But it doesn't. The P3 can read a 0.5 at a different resistance which can require a voltage change, which means lower wattage. To raise the "IQ" to raise the wattage requires stretching the end cap spring, deoxidizing/cleaning the threads/extension caps, etc. Total P.I.T.A. IME to the point I never bother using my P3's with subohm tanks and will never again.

I love my P3's but only run them at 8-13w and can't see that ever changing. If I want to subohm at 0.5ohms, that is why I bought a Radius. For 0.2-0.4ohms, I use a Snow Wolf or RX200.
Thank you for the feedback. I kinda suspected as much, and this makes my decision easier :)

Wonderful to hear! I haven't dropped one line that in awhile. But it's bound to happen again soon...

As long as we're discussing finishes, past experience has me being a bit uncertain about anything black. I have both Zencote and Cerakote and will not buy anything else with Cerakote. My Kabuki is only a few months old, but it is starting to look terrible. The silver underneath is beginning to show on any sharp edge. No, I've never used my ultrasonic cleaner on it nor boiling water either.

On the other hand, the Gold Zencote 2.5 and Stealth Zencote Kabuki look as good as they did the day I unpacked them. And my black P3 remains in excellent appearance.

Unless I'm having a comprehension problem, ProVape does not always specify the exact finish on some of their items.

In a nutshell, Zencote "yes" and cerakote "absolutely not"

The way Kabuki tanks (glass) has been breaking I'd say you were very fortunate!!!!! [emoji106] My heart stops anytime I drop a mod. If mine had been rolling like yours I might've fainted rii there on the spots!

So (this might get interesting), I've been thinking a lot about the concept of customization. And agree or not (most here will not) one of my biggest stumbling blocks with the newer models (P3, Radius & Classic) is that I happen to truly like the 2.5 menu. I always did ("You had me at 'Hello.").

What I'd really like is the option to select my preferred menu with these devices. Wouldn't it be nice if ProVape offered such a menu option? I know I'd like it, and it quite possibly might be a tipping point for me to buy a Radius (not that I'm changing their Balance Sheet...).

Agreed! And...

I know I'm gonna take heat for this, but I think it's all gone downhill since the 2.5. The P3 was a meh 20 watts with that awful menu (granted I like the P3 connector, I'll give them that) and cumbersome firmware upgrade. Then the classic, where they basically P3'd the 2.5...top cap good, menu bad. The Radius doesn't seem like a huge step up from the P3, 40 watts, the form factor, and allowing updates via Windows are really all that's changed functionally from my POV from the P3.

I'm kind of afraid that Provape hit it out of the park with the 2/2.5, and are kind of whiffing on their subsequent mods. Here's hoping that the P4(?) brings back some of that "it" factor that made the 2.0/2.5 so amazing.

Since I've never updated my P3s, the only ProVari I currently use of the 10 I have, is the Radius, because it is the only one I can fire a 0.5Ω coil on. Also, after the initial setup, I really don't use the menu because I keep the same topper on the device.

My only point here is we are all different, and having many choices is good.

And tomorrow, when I attend a small vape meet, I am already ready for those who will undoubtedly look at my *several* Provis and say........ "Wow! A Provari. Haven't seen one of THOSE in a long time! People still use those?"

Anyone got a great comeback? ;)

The last vapemeet I went to, people who know me asked if I had a Radius to show them. They may, however, be a bit more accepted here because one of the vendors is CigTechs, who originally sold the Tatroe Bases and ProRings.
