Not really, I see pics of myself wearing bell bottoms and collars the size of Texas and recoil in horror!
The bells passed early (thankfully), and my crowd was more of the T or NO shirt variety. And a couple with suspenders, even!!!
The hair on that ONE though, good grief!

My uniform consisted of many Jack Daniels t-shirts and tight Levis.
The lumber jacket (Scarborough Dinner Jacket) was really popular in my day....
We thought we looked like this....
And of course, we really looked like this...

The folks in the second pic looked far more pleasing than the first pic.
Don't I know it. Worked with these guys for years. Still do some work with one of them. 15 minute breaks between sets were heaven in the bus.
