I have also had a large order seized and refused by Customs back in October for $150 worth of E liquid and DIY supplies ... My advice is do not order juice outside of Canada. Hardware doesnt seem to be a problem however, nic juice is prohibited to enter Canada so anything marked E liquid is going to be a problem, even if there is no nic because I don't use nic juice and the package got snatched anyway.
In my experience, anything shipped via USPS clears customs faster, and I have yet to receive a bill for duty taxes or brokerage fee using Postal mail services .... however, whenever I have used UPS as the shipping method I get banged with a big COD bill, or the package gets refused. The last UPS bill was for $36.16, which was half the cost of my total order of $75, $22 of which was for UPS shipping and the order was for 14pc 13ml bottles of Capella flavoring :S.
I don't even think you should attempt the juice delivery again ...
