Wow ,wait a sec Sec, I only asked you "how long ago was that and how many ecigs please?"( note the please) ....I didn`t indicate that I didn`t believe you in that simple question. It's only that I think they were more lax in the past and people have said that one ecig often gets through.
I wondered if either was the case where your situation was concerned. I'd say you were the one with a persecution complex or something. Still, just because your paranoid dosen,t mean their not out to get you I guess.
Crazy canuck I am sorry that this brutal exchange has you so stressed, but if you will notice I asked a simple question, it was sec who reacted like I was calling him a liar or accusing him of something.
I ordered 30 cartos and 230ml of juice from China on the 8th, they ship hardware and juice separately by different methods, one package cleared customs yesterday and is in the hands of Canada Post for delivery. I'm not sure what is in this package but I hope the other one has the same success.
No worries platinum. My comment wasn't aimed at any one person specifically. Just an observation that has kept me in other areas of the forum the last little while.

Hey platinum, I certainly don't have a persecution complex and haven't been paranoid since I stopped smoking pot in my parents basement. Maybe I misunderstood it when you were using terms like "crap" and "misinformation" to describe what people here were saying. If so, my bad. I apologize for that. My package came stamped by customs. No juice in the order just hardware. Merry Christmas!
Yes your right sec, I re-read my earlier post and can see how it could be seen as antagonistic, I didn`t mean to direct it at you though. However as with all forums you get a few people with a million posts who have an opinion on everything and I just thought if they want to contribute it should be from a position of personal experience .Thats probably the only way we will piece together what is likely to happen at customs. Cartos arrived today. Juice was shipped registered air mail so I can't imagine it will be long for that. The returnee was an individual, not a company and the description said 'gift'.

I believe that (as is the norm this time of year), many will be posting about absurd delays in customs clearing/holding thinking there is a 'new' directive in effect, when 'common sense' simply dictates that its most likely due to the holiday season backlogging as we've seen for years.
I get my stuff through customs every time, I don't if I'm just lucky. First juice I tried to import got seized and I received a letter saying "entry to Canada was denied under the drug act" yadiyada and some fancy words I didn't understand. Didn't think much of it so I asked the chinese man to remove the labels and declare it propylene glycol like someone mentioned ealier in the thread (and I though I was witty ). 200ml of 60mg juice for cheaps accually, with base PG/VG even cheaper its more expensive for the flavoring than the accual base nic juice lol. Did this 4 times since 2009, last order I did was in august this year. Dilute it down to 24-18mg and that stuff will go a loooonng way. Then again...I don't DIY only so your millage may vary.

As Concat already stated, it is Customs that has to inspect and clear imported packages, not Health Canada ... And Yes, I have had several packages from the U.S that were inspected and cleared by Customs. I have ordered Flavorings from 4 different US vendors, and I have ordered hardware several times from one vendor (ecigbestsave.com/ships under different name) ... all items cleared, and they cleared because the vendors declared the items in their proper names without referencing ecigarettes or ejuice/eliquid.
To the OP'ers crying "misinformation", you and whomever you ordered from simply did not understand the "how to's" of importing ecigarette related items. A package that is declared "ecig accessories, parts, kits, etc" will not pass customs however, a package declared " battery, drip tips, atomizer, etc" will mostly likely pass without a problem, and I have experienced both sides of this coin.
In my experience Liquids of any kind pose the highest risk of not passing customs, regardless of how they are marked. Hardware that is properly declared and does not contain any liquid is the lowest risk in my experience.
my very first ordered was denied entry and I think I got one of the first HC letters. since I've had a number of orders arrive safely. holidays, especially Christmas, will delay stuff. I have an order showing enroute to canada for days. it's most likely been sitting in customs production line for about 3-4 days allready...
