People please don`t pay attention to this crap, with or without nicotine if customs/health canada find your hardware you are sol. I wish people would know what they are talking about before flippantly posting this sh-t. Based on misinformation like this I ordered a bunch of ecigs (no nicotine) and lost my order and my money.

This is actually misinformation as well... Just because it happened to you doesn't mean anything. Canadians have been getting hardware imported (and inspected) quite regularly. What we don't really know is what the criteria is for denying entry for hardware. It has happened, and sometimes it's because they assume there's nicotine, and sometimes they say you need a license to import it (I assume because they think you are a reseller). I've never heard of needing a license to import something for personal use.

K, well first of all Health Canada doesn't hold any packages, Customs does. Secondly, I never said or implied that once Customs denies a package for entry, it's easy or even possible to get them to change their minds.

You said if they find your hardware they will deny entry. I was responding to that and all I meant was that it isn't always the case. In fact, most hardware does get through after inspected by Customs.

Your right Concat, my package was clearly opened by them and I still got it.

So platinum,

"OK, could you name even one person who has had a package delyed/held by health Canada and actually ended up recieving the order ? "

Sorry but that is total crap, most packages get through because they are not inspected.Next to nothing ecig related gets through these days if the package is inspected. Why do all you people who have never actually delt with customs/Health Canada on this keep spewing out misinformation when you have no actual experience .
If I am wrong kindly direct me to an earlier post where you talk about your own personal experience with customs/health canada.

Why would we even bother to lie about this? You seem like you have a chip on your shoulder buddy and I don't know why. Your new here, and so am I, and act like you know everything. I'm sorry if you got screwed at some point but dont take it out on the rest of us here.

I'll play the game though and give you an answer to your question because I'm a nice person. There were 20 (45batteries) e-cig/kits in my order. And you can find my earlier post yourself, it's an easy thing to do.

Wow, somebody didn't take their chill pill today

Bottom line if you don't like playing craps, support Canadian vendors. If you can't do neither, please don't come here to complain about it. :)

I am new to vaping and ordered my first e-cig and liquid through a Canadian vendor. Like most of you I wanted more but found that the Canadian supplier didn't have the variety in liquids that I was looking for. I ended up making two orders to V4L at the end of October. The first order was only hardware : two cases, two batteries, and 15 blank cartomizers. Two days later I made a second order through the same company for a small sampling of e-juice.
Within a couple of days the tracking number was telling me that both packages were in Mississauga and were being reviewed by customs. 15 days later, the package that contained the hardware was released and arrived at my house the next day. The package had been opened and had both customs tape and a green "reviewed by Health Canada" sticker. To my surprise there were some bonus cartomizers from V4L that did contain zero nic e-juice. Everything else was exactly what I had ordered and yes it was delayed by customs.
The second package containing the e-juice order is still "being reviewed by customs" according to the tracking number. November 4th is the date that it went in for review and as of today it's status has not changed.
