Just wanted to make everyone aware of the dangers of the Taryn Spin and some safety precautions that one would use when utilizing this fine procedure.

Dangers: Metal tube filled with liquid traveling at a high velocity can and will cause damage to fragile items if allowed to be put into a projectile state.

Precautions:
Confirm that your cart is safely and securely inserted into the clothes hanger piping before spinning.
Make sure that your cart is not the slightest bit damp before inserting into the hanger piping.
Occasionally trim back your piping for a more snug fit.

I learned the hard way HAR HAR HAR!:p

LOL! To prevent premature ejaculation, hmm , ejection of the cartomizer during the Taryn spin, I utilize one of the little cloth bags that came with batteries. Great spin, no dangerous objects being thrown about ;-)

What she said, and I put 5 penny's in the bottom of the bag to give it some "oomph" :headbang:

The version of the spinner I make is actually made from a carto condom, string, and some duck tape. Its not perfect but it works really well at keeping the carto in place.

Haha its looks like a child drew that but I don't have pics on hand. The end of the string is sandwiched between two pieces of tape to keep it from slipping. This rig has only failed me once and it was due to the string, not the carto.

Since the Taryn spin was such an important part of my vaping gear, back in the day, I took a bottle of glitter that had a screw on cap, emptied it, washed it out, drilled a hole in the cap, and put a nylon cord through the hole. Much more durable than the coat hanger cardboard piping and contains any spilled juice if you were tired while inserting the carto.

Time to put the Taryn spin to pasture, it's old and not very effective for instant drying.

There is new machine that just hit the market that makes the Taryn Spin an antiquated relic. But wouldn't you know it, I just happened to be the only person in a world of approx. 7 Billion people that cannot discuss it here.

It will dry 6 cartos in 10 seconds at the push of a button, then you simply fill and vape! I use it to clean and dry my cartos which is why I get 30 full refill uses out a single carto instead of using 1 and tossing it after 3 or 4 top offs. Because the cartos are so clean I haven't burned a single one in months and only toss them when the atomizer wire burns out.

On another completely and separate note, other helpful and informative videos like the one posted here about the Taryn Spin can always be found at my Youtube Channel.

LOL too funny. You guys should have seen my face when I sent it through the air at work in my office! I kept waiting for someone to walk in and ask me if everything was all right. That there gents is a wonderful machine. Definitely something I will be looking to get once the wife calms down with this initial onslaught of vaping bills!!!!! =)~

Taryn was a former member of this sub-forum, who...one day tried spinning a Cartomizer to help aid in pushing the juice down through the polyfill for quicker more efficient filling. Of course, back then the polyfill was wrapped much tighter on the older generation of hard cap cartomizers.

They were called hard caps because they used a 2 piece set-up with an inner ring between the mouth piece end cap and the polyfill. As well the mouth piece was made of hard plastic which was glued onto the cartomizer.

For edification sake, I have only used the Taryn spin to get more juice in my carts, when refilling. ;-) Never even considered using it for drying; have always just put them in the oven, low temp, for about 1/2 hr. Thats my story, and I'm sticking to it ;-)
