I have found that some of the flavors are a thicker juice and have trouble wicking so i mic afew drops of flava with several drops of a thinner menthol I have. once you burn some nasty it takes a while to flush that nasty taste out or you need a new one. that might cause a loss of flavor
be sure you arn't burning filler or it will taste like crap all the time

It was very encouraging! I don't think I'll quit buying analogs just yet (as I had hoped) But I will NOT give up on this! It definitely is the best alternative to smoking-cessation that I can find! I think I'll just keep on trying new things and taking advice on what to actually get that will work for me! Not giving up on the 510-T either :) -- going to order stronger juice! COME ON TASTE BUDS!

You will be MUCH more limited on that smoke 51 product, limited to their overpriced cartos in 2 flavors. Send it back as soon as you get it if you can. I was checking their policy and it says opened products can't be returned, so that implies that unopened can. Hopefully they will take it back.

And keep trying juices. You will find something you love!

I am on day 5 with my Ego and am going through the same experience.

While I can't claim to have given up cigs completely I can say that I have had less than 15 in the time I would normally have had over 100 so it is a step in the right direction.

Just spent about another $50 on juices as after reading most of what has been posted here I am pretty sure that success is really down to finding the right juice for you. Alas that is always going to be highly subjective so I have accepted that is going to take some money to sort out.

Keep at it. Be confident it works and your time will come.

Thank you, Andy. I just ordered mint and maple (assuming they will be strong enough for me to taste lol). And I agree... at least if I can cut down alot to start it's a great beginning! Good luck to you also! I'm gonna keep at this with fingers crossed!

Hey, kakg2x--welcome to the forums. I started on the eGo-T about 6 months ago, but I noticed, after reading a number of posts at this forums, that new vapers go through a few things at the beginning:

1. finding that first starter kit that works for them;
2. finding some good e-liquids that work at the beginning for them;
3. dealing with the changes your body goes through as you leave analog cigs behind.

It takes a while, but stick with it--the rewards to your health are worth it as you leav analog cigs in your past. I haven't had a real problem with the eGo starter kits, but as other posters say, they can be fussy, especially at the beginning (it can get discouraging for some). A lot of posters will say, go for the cartomizers--they're a lot less fussy to deal with than the tank.

The damage to your taste buds from analog smokes is gonna prevent you from fully enjoying some of the eliquids out there--again, don't be discouraged. You taste buds will come back, in time. Just keep yourself hydrated (drink a bit more water than you originally planned to). Once your taste buds come back, you'll need to experiment with nicotine levels, to find the level that works for you.

Good luck, and keep us posted!

+1 this. Tidegirl is right....the Smoke51 is NOT a step up from the 510. Send it back if you can. Just don't open it. There are MUCH better kits for the money....and the 510 you have is one of them. If/when you want to "step up" to something better, the Riva 510 from Liberty-Flights (for $29.95) is a MUCH better option.
