Oh gotcha. Lavatube. The first pic looked similar to the mvp that I just thought that was what you were referring to.

I started with the Magmas, and then went to the Inferno. I liked the Inferno, but often wrestled with flooding and gurgling in the BCT tank that came with my kit. I toyed with the idea of the Lavatube - it looks quite cool! Still have the Inferno, but got "mod envy" when I started seeing the VV/VW mods. Not anxious at all to start rebuilding, and I have a lovely B&M around the corner from me, so I'm not sure how soon I'll go DIY. VERY happy with my setup(s) at this time - FINALLY. You too will find vaping Nirvana :)

I'm in the process of learning as we speak. I'm even a big researcher and moderate techie, and have to say that the vaping world is just that, a WORLD of different equipment, juices, mods, abbreviations, etc.. Even though it has only been a week since I got my ego 510 set up from my local dealer/stealer (I say that because they charged me $90 for what costs $30 online), but I was desperate and didn't research anything first and wanted off analogs STAT. Anyway, I've since slowed my expectations and am taking it slow so I don't get burned out. I've only tried 2 juices, both tobacco flavored because I want to transition slowly from the analog taste to tasty juices. The first one I got tasted like chewing on a cigar, and the V2 juice is perfect and is similar to my brand of analogs but I'm getting the PG allergy like issues. So now I'm looking for VG juices I could try. I read somewhere on here that thick VG juices are too thick for ego style carto's, is this true?

Reading your post, I felt SO lucky. I really had a good first experience and fortunately found this forum right off the bat. For me the juice is the thing and as long as I have tastes that I love all the screwy things that happen with the "equipment" are just a little frustrating. I am so happy that you worked out your kinks and are happily vaping away! Enjoy!! :toast:

Welcome Catalyst! I've had no issue with any higher vg juices in my CE4 style tanks. I also went ahead and bought a couple kanger mini 3s for my ego's which do great with the higher vgs as well. Idk if I have an allergy or just dont like the harshness of the PG. I don't go above 50% PG and prefer 70-100% VG. IMHO I think the companies that produce higher VG juice from the get-go, taste better than the companies that just let you adjust your own ratio. Because they have already put the work in to making that high VG juice taste good. Where as if you are adjusting your own at checkout then you have to add flavor shots to get the good flavor, otherwise it is usually muted. This has just been my experience with it. Hope that helps some... Good luck on your journey :vapor:

It's important to find out if you actually have any PG allergy issue.
100%PG liquid can be vaped but 100%VG liquid leaves a heavy lungs problem.
Some people dilute VG with some distilled water if they cannot use PG.

A general good starting point is to use 50/50 PG/VG.
If the liquid is too thick it makes wicking slow and increases the problem of dry hits.

Hardware and how to use it is very important to taste; it is not just the liquid alone; the same liquid in different hardware can taste completely different.
