Two packs a day means you probably want something with a good battery..I'm about a pack a day smoker and I go through mine pretty quick...I would reccommend checking the supplier tab out and look for V4L, and check out their vapor king...Also means your going to go through fluid pretty fast...For that I would recommend doign a little bit of research on whatever you get, and grab cartomizers so you don't have to drip it every 20 mins...Anyhow I'm kind of a noob myself, so I don't really know what else I could offer

Oh, one more thing...I would try out Bluemistvapor out, they do the sample packs really cheap with a good variety of flavors...I would get atleast one PG and one VG sampe kit and see which you prefer more before buying larger bottles of vapor...Definitely want to know, I ordered a bunch of PG and although the flavors there, I can't stand not seeing the the vapor

Hi, I can't recommend a nic liquid that matches Doral, never having smoked it. But for the hardware, I'd definitely recommend that you get a cheap ego or a riva. I got an ecig that was shaped like a cigarette and was disappointed that it would only last about 90 minutes before needing a recharge, and give weaker and weaker puffs throughout those 90 minutes. You can get a riva starter kit for 30 bucks from liberty-flights.com using coupon code ecf. That doesn't include any liquid, but they have a wide selection of choices with a lot of reviews.

And just because I love spamming, final little tip...When you first really cut back on the smokes and start using the your PV, it's going to suck...It's going to taste weird, and it's not going to be the same..Keep using it as much as you can, basically force it o yourself..Before you know it the taste is tons better, your chest and throat feels alot better, and cigarettes begin to taste toxic and horrible...It's discouraging at first, atleast it was for me, but now I can't stand smoking the real things

In my opinion you would want a battery that is sure to last you a while like the eGo or Riva. My personal favorite is the Riva SE and that can be found on
Liberty-flights.com and they also have tobacco juice there. Also, in the upper left hand corner of there site you can click on the 20% and it will take 20% off of everything you want to order automatically. I would get a kit both for you and your husband so you have your own batteries and everything like that. I hope this helps you out a little bit and welcome to ECF :)

First thing I'd recommend is a Pass-Through (PT). It's like an e-cig but it plugs into your computer. Be sure to get one that has an inline battery (it's basically recharging every moment you're not taking a puff, and it doesn't draw more than 1/2 amp from the USB port).

If you want to use one without an inline battery, you have to get a separate 2 amp wall-wart (AC to DC adapter). Wal-Mart has a sleek little 2amp/2 port adapter for $9.95 with free site-to-store shipping.

Smoking while on the computer was always my big thing, too. Sometimes I'd go through two or three packs in just a few hours.

For a first e-cig, I'd recommend a KR808D-1, preferably XLs. Everybody and their kid sister loves to push the eGo/Riva, but I tried it and hated it, as have many other people. The 808 is typically cheaper (MSRP for an eGo kit is $79.95, MSRP for an 808 kit is $39.95), and I feel it's a good introduction to PVs because it's still quite a bit like smoking, so you don't have to adopt new habits at the same time you're learning the care and feeding of a PV.

Good luck!

Hmm haven't seen an ego for $80....I have seen the ego for$40 at liberty flights with the 20% off discount and the Riva for $30 and both kits comes with 2 sets. As long as you do the research you will not get ripped off..
I have the ego because I don't like rebrands (riva) and I absolutely love the battery life and didn't really care that it looked like a real cigarette. Yes re-filling the carts can be a nuisance but it takes less than a minute so not that big of deal. I recently bought the tank setup and a tank lasts me quite a long time between re-fills.
also make sure you buy an extra atty or two just in case..
Good luck and happy vaping

These are the kits you want to look at:

Electronic Cigarette Starter Kits
Vapor King Premium E-Cig Kits and Cases - Vape On!

Easy to use; charge the battery, screw on a carto, vape. When the carto tastes dry, put on a new one. You CAN refill them if you want to (and, clearly, we recommend that you do) but you DON'T HAVE to... you can just put on a new one every time if you like.

You'll likely go through 2-3 cartos per day (each - maybe more).

Good luck!! :)

edit: also the batteries will probably last 4-5 hours per charge, if that's not enough for running around all day with then you should get the kits that come with PCC's (personal charging case, charges on the go) they look like cigarette cases, nice.

hi i know just how you feel i was a 50 a day smoker i have not had a cig for a year now.
what you need is a 6 volt mod if your not botherd by size get a silver bullet or buzz or if you can afford it GGTS use HV cartos in a avs thats an auto vaping system that fits in top of your device and holds 6 mill of juice.with good batterys your good to go for 12 hours with this set up.

good luck

I agree with Rosa. Don't start with the big mods. You can buy one later is you want. Vapor4Life is a great place to start. You can get your battery kit and prefilled cartomizers there. It is an easy process for the newbie. Get a couple of different packs of flavored prefilled cartos in menthol and tobacco and a couple of starter kits, and that is a great beginning. If you want to branch out after you get used to these, fine! But they are easy and not confusing.

Best wishes!

hello!
This is my first forum post EVER!!
I have been researching and have come to the conclusion, I NEED HELP!

I don't know which ecigs to order.
I smoke doral light 100
hubby smokes doral short reg.
we both smoke about 2 packs a day. depending if we are on the computer and than it is more!

would someone be so kind and help me?

thanks,
KIM

You want an eGo.

Shop around different vendors run different sales almost every single week. Nicotine Nirvana and FreedomsmokeUSA have a decent kit prices as well.

You will want TWO complete kits.

The Ego 650 battery 9 standard in a kit ) lasts between 4-6 hours of fairly constant vaping. So always have one charging will using the other. Eventually I broke down and bought two 900 mah eGo batteries. They last me all day and into the next and I vape constantly.

Next up is juice. Some juice people love and others they hate. Taste is subjective.

I recommend buying 2-3 flavors of juice of various nic strengths. 36 down to 12. Find what works for you.

You can order juice from the same place you get your kit.

keep this in mind...almost everyone who tries vaping starts out trying to match their cigarette flavor...after they try a flavor they really like ( like Tastyfinger from tasty vapor for me ) they forget all about what they smoked and start looking for an all day vape juice.

You are going to LOVE a flavor you don't expect at all.
