If you are rocking a mech with a Trident at 1 Ohms and it's still not doing the trick for you then I would be inclined to follow Cool-breeze's advice and seek out Whole Tobacco Alkaloids (WTA). It really helps some folks. Can you, perhaps, describe in more detail what, exactly, you feel isn't "doing" it for you or inhibiting your ability to do away with the smokes?

1 pack a day down to 5-7 smokes isn't too shabby, that tells me that for the most part this is doing something for you.

I can tell you, from my experience, having nights out with the guys and drinking some (some? A lot!) brews was my big hurdle. I could use the e-cig all week long but come Friday night "out with the guys" it just didn't cut the mustard. For me, a simple ego setup with a tank did it because it was "no fuss, no muss". I was a 1-2 pack a day smoker, rolling my own when I quit. It took 3 months from the time I started the e-cig 'till the day I quit; it was no magic overnight thing. It took some willpower FOR SURE. Now, I wouldn't go back for anything and I've been tempted plenty of times. I'm a mech/rebuildable tank user myself and have been smoke free since 24Feb2013 and I AIN'T GOING BACK ;)

You've already played around with Nic levels, and you are using a mech/RDA which is a great delivery system so, I don't know what else to say that can be of help other than check out some WTA juice to see if that helps and, if you're like me, you might just have to suck it up and deal with some withdrawals and be strong for a bit until you can get over it.

I sincerely wish I could be of more help :(

I rolled 30-50 smokes a day towards the end of my 40 year smoking spree... Ecigs won't take away all the cravings, 4 alkaloids that are addictive are missing. But it is a good start to defeat those cravings. And yes, even after you have done that, you will always crave cigarettes, it is a permanent addiction. You are always a "recovering" addict. You have to commit, don't cut down, that never works. Just stop smoking, and use ecigs for what they are intended for. It will be hard, but it is so worth it. Every cigarette is pumping 150 very poisonous chemicals, 70 of which are cancerous, throughout your bloodstream every time you smoke one. Think about that. Both my mother and father are dead from smoking related cancer. Find a reason, and just quit!

You could set a goal of 1 day no cigs. For me I really had to want to be done smoking. I am 27 days now with no cigs and vaping helped. It is still one of the hardest habits to break. At first for me the V2 red 2.4% helped me get through the first week. Now I am using halo tribeca at 1.8%. If you have the funds try different e-cigs until you find one that give's you the fix your body is craving, I am sure you will get to 0 cigs.

This is going to sound cliche, but if you want to quit smoking you have to want to quit smoking. As long as you have analogs on you, you are going to smoke them.

You want to quit? Don't buy anymore analogs, throw away your lighters/matches, and just vape. Eventually, and in a shorter amount of time than you'd expect, analogs will begin to taste repulsive.

I quit in 4 days. The last 2 of those 4 days, I only had 1 cig a day. I was a pack a day, 21 year smoker. Believe me, you got this!
