Deep Sabbath

Ok so I am trying to put together a Tribute band to Black Sabbath and Deep Purple !!! I have been talking to the keyboard/organ player from !!!


U2 believe it or not , he is all over doing this gig ( wants to rock apparently LOL ! )

Man 2 great bands right there. I even liked Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow band, and Sabbath all the riffs permanently burned into my skull along with the best voice of all...Ozzy.

It should make for one heck of a jam

IF I can get it together it will be FUN for SURE ! man those Deep Purple licks RB did are crazy with the doubled B3 etc. hell this is almost as much work as the SRV / Hendrix band I did last year !

I never got to see sabath live. Closest I have come is Judas Priest (Alice Cooper opened) or maybe AC/DC!

I just ripped an interesting CD, I have not had a chance to listen to it yet, it was Jimmy Paige jamming live with the Black Crowes!

I only thought of it because I ripped a few SVR cd's at the same time, but there was nothing on there I haven't heard before!

I gotta find a singer first < i have everybody else so far ??? we will see , I live in a low population area so it can be tough to find good musicians . Not like LA thats for sure .

Yeah that was a sad day. I think about it every now and then and wonder what he would have been like today and all the new music, and riffs he would have made. I bet he would still have that same Fender Strat, no color left on it just natural wood color by now.

I did not know that there were "low population" areas in CA!

Ya central Ca. has low population IMO there are maybe 50k in my area total. LArge area

I guess population is subjective... in 2009 the town I lived had a population of 1,210. If one were looking for a singer here, there might not even be a bad one!

A few years ago, I HAD to buy my son an Ipod of his own,(he was 7) & kept stealing mine, just to listen to black sabbath...........

Just go to the closest bar, there's always someone singing in them. Not getting paid for it though.LOL
