Every anti-vaping bill I'm aware of has been introduced, proposed, sponsored and supported by the Democrats.

Sad but true.

I used to be a registered Democrat, too.

At the federal level this is true, and I expect it will likely stay that way. At the state level, it's been both parties sponsoring and introducing e-cig bills.

Yeah, I'm not familiar with every single state's legislation efforts... Depressing.

Here in California it's been pretty lopsided. :D

What OP may have heard was when they were discussing CVS's decision to stop selling tobacco products? I did read an article by a doctor on foxnews.com a while back that was pushing for regulation of ecigs for ridiculous reasons. But for the most part, Fox News has been very objective in any ecig reporting. It amazes me that politicians think they need to regulate anything that can be construed as possibly harmful, even if it's not. They must think we are lemmings. Or they are power hungry....

Pickleskunk - you are somewhat right they had been talking about CVS then at the end went to this ecig ban stuff -I have looked for more info and so far have not spotted anything new and evidently no one on here has watched the Five tonight - I thought maybe someone may have seen it or someone on the West coast might have caught it after I posted. So we will watch and listen closely - -
However I did find this in support of us - - -

I could careless what media outlet provides the information giving us a heads up on related vaping issues! Those who are paying attention realize were being attacked every time we turn around! It won't be long before were all being suppressed if we don't try to work together.

It's becoming more evident daily, they're not waiting on the FDA, they're doing as they want reguardless of the facts. It appears to me, they don't want the public to know the truth, as it may not benifit their position.

What's frustrating to me is the these elected officials have no competence whatsoever! I don't recall ever voting for a candidate who's priority was banning beer, cigarette's, or rocky road ice cream!

There are real problem's we face as a country, I don't feel vaping is one of them! These politicians need to be held accountable for they're lack luster performace. Which imo, is why they focus on things like vaping! They realize if they're judged on their performance....they'd be out of a job! Which they obviously feel is to over-tax, and dictate what's best for other's.

It seems incredulous that the month the government initiates a major stop smoking campaign that there is also a move to wage a campaign against a proven vehicle to stop smoking while the prominent politicians say…”there is nothing really bad about {OTHER STUFF}.”

Stop smoking groups will hand out nicotine infused patches, gum and drugs with no control over the amount of nicotine but question the use of nicotine infused juice that allows full control of the level of nicotine.

I also wonder if CVS will apply the same logic they used to stop selling cigarettes to other items. “Cigarettes are against our focus as a healthcare provider and clinics. We do not want to sell items that contribute chronic health issues like hypertension, diabetes and high blood pressure.” Great then why stop with cigarettes? Should they also consider banning the aisles aof junk food, booze, and candy for the same reasons? What about salt, sugar and on and on. If any or all of those items are ingested in excess are those not also contributors to the same issues cited as a basis to stop selling cigarettes?

Thank God we are all so taken care of. If not for our caretakers, I would be confused.

(Sorry, no use of the word god either…I forgot…I must have got confused)

I just watched the rerun--nice segment on Durbin and Waxman and the proposed ban on Capitol Hill--even Beckell agreed that trying to ban e-cigs is hypocritical and misguided. Gutfeld went so far as saying that the ban will cause more deaths if it forces people to go back to smoking, They also discussed CVS in the segment.

I welcome any major media outlet that has consistently reported accurate and positive information on E-cigs. Like them or not Fox consistently crushes every other News network in viewers meaning more people see the positive E Cig reporting. Also like them or not they are the only ones presenting correct and accurate information about E-cigs. Which I would think anyone on here would appreciate.

I love Fox news myself and anyone else who is not far left liberal

Rush Limbaugh is an e-cig user and a great advocate for our cause, also.

Like it or not.

That right there makes me want a marlboro
