And things like this are why I plan on buying diy goods on bulk so the government I fought for (not this crap) has zero control of how I get my nicotine. The less big brother knows the better.

And just cuz I can... Bomb-bitty bomb, bomb, bomb!! :)

What OP may have heard was when they were discussing CVS's decision to stop selling tobacco products? I did read an article by a doctor on foxnews.com a while back that was pushing for regulation of ecigs for ridiculous reasons. But for the most part, Fox News has been very objective in any ecig reporting. It amazes me that politicians think they need to regulate anything that can be construed as possibly harmful, even if it's not. They must think we are lemmings. Or they are power hungry....

When you read the posts of some vapers on ECF who support these type of politicians and their policies and bash the only national media outlet favorable to vaping, it's not difficult to understand why these politicians believe they can do whatever they want.

Let's keep the media and political bickering with each other out of this please.

Thanks! :)

If we avoid the who, what, why, when, where, and how... How will anyone know about this?

Should we all start watching CNN, MSNBC, or one of the other state controlled "news" outlets so that we can "protect" ourselves from learning about these things?

FOX is so "hated" because they keep popping the lid off of the bottle and letting the genie out. A sure way to tell how effective they are is to watch how upset those that have an interest in keeping certain stories out of the news get. Looks like they are doing a damn fine job to me.

Here's a link to the segment

There we go with liberal or conservative.
I guess no one has figured it out; that all corporate media
is BS.....................
They only tell you what you want to hear, to manipulate
your will for the corporate agenda.
Everyone if they haven't should watch the movie Network.....
We are all in this together....................................

Ah shucks y'all. If you like your e-cig, you can keep your e-cig.

Now that is a statement I could support from Obama. Well, at least until we found out he lied. BTW, I also was a Democrat before I switched to independent and I did vote for him in the first election. However the promise disappeared over the years.

I don't know why vaping and politics (or BT for that matter) must necessarily have anything to do w/ one another.

Even if indirectly, via the politicizing of the media.

Unfortunately vapers are merely treated as pawns by: BP-funded ANTZ orgs and researchers; by both liberal and conservative media outlets; and naturally by politicians ... most of whom have taken very little time to understand both the science and the public health aspects of vaping as THR/cessation.

What we have here is a series of alliances, apparently motivated by the knee-jerk adoption of principles such as: "the enemy of my enemy (or the friend of my friend) is my friend." And likewise ... "the enemy of my friend (or the friend of my enemy) is my enemy."

Public health doesn't benefit from becoming a political football, funding generator, or a marketing tool.

Everyone who opposes this absurd proposal by the lefty Dems (two of whom are retiring this year) to ban e-cig use at the Capitol should contact their US Congressman and 2 US Senators (as complaining about here on ECF accomplishes nothing).
THOMAS (Library of Congress)

And while you're at it, please urge them to not allow Obama's FDA to ban e-cigs, or give the e-cig industry to Big Tobacco
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...op-fda-giving-e-cig-industry-big-tobacco.html

We need to urge the masses of vapers to take action to keep e-cigs legal to manufacture, sell, buy and use.

Problem is, Fox and Rush are actually supportive of our freedom to choose vaping, and every time someone mentions their support, someone else has to pop off with a snide remark. I would think that we should welcome anyone that has listeners/viewers and supports what we claim to want--freedom to choose vaping.

The other problem is that some people can't support them even if they are on the same side.

Kool Aid's effects are powerful and apparently, permanent.

Thank you for sharing the link. One of the best commintaries I have seen in support of vaping. And yet some on ECF would rather us all support this cabel of politicians and the media outlets who provide only negative commentary on vaping. Now I know why the term "cutting off your nose to spite your face" exists.

Excellent point, Bill.
