The reason that I got a Provari was because of how important vaping is to me. Cigarette smoking was going to be the death of me if I didn't quit. I had tried to quit numerous times with the nicotine gum and patches, even hypnosis; none of that worked. I tried a disposable e-cig that I saw for sale on the counter at a convenience store and I thought why not give it a try. It was actually pretty decent. I told myself that this should work. Around that time, my mother died relatively quickly and unexpectantly of a cancer that no one knew that she had. This made my own mortality hit close to home. I made the decision to quit once and for all with the e-cig.
Long story short, the ecigs have allowed me to be smoke free for 8 months and running. Not only have I potentially saved my life, I have rationally converted the savings from cigarettes to my new vaping habit/hobby. Considering how important vaping is to me I figure I deserve the best device available, which I feel the Provari is.
The majority of APV's are unregulated, which means that as the battery dies so does the quality of vapor and flavor. With the Provari's accuset microprocessor technology, the voltage that I set is continuously provided throughout the battery's charge. It does this so well, that I can not tell when the battery is getting low that it has a function where the activation switch blinks to let me know it is time to change the battery.
The Provari has numerous safety features built into it. It also is able to check the battery voltage and the atomizer resistance, and extremely accurately I might add. It will even tell me if I am trying to use a poor choice of atomizer and voltage combination or tell me if their is a short within the atomizer.
The manufacturing build is beyond compare. The milled threading of the battery endcap has been described as "buttery". The LED display function and single button menu system is easy to master in ten minutes of play. Customer service has proven to be excellent from testimonials on the forums. And I have confidence that even after my one year warranty expires, I can still have my Provari serviced for a reasonable fee.
Is the Provari worth it? It depends upon who is answering the question. For me, its a definite YES!!
It's not for everyone. If you are satisfied with what you are using, there's no need to switch.
