Yeah, if the base is like that it's shot. I busted a Pharaoh base after a good, solid fall. Didn't break the glass, but opened up the base that no matter what I tried it wouldn't stay together. I cannibalized a base off another one, so now I have 3 tanks and two bases. Or 2 tanks and one really comprehensive spare parts box. I never contacted them for a replacement base, as I figured it was definitely my fault, I can't claim a defect with a straight face.

TC on the DNA works fine with that tank, but forget it once that base is separated.

So I used JB Weld to reattach the threaded ring that holds the decks in place.
A few things, it changed the residence marginally, it went from .13 to .143.
I guess this was expected seeing JB Weld is an insulator.
It seems to have solved the resistance fluctuating :) But It welded the JFC tight :(
I have been using it with out the JFC functional, surprisingly it's not flooding or leaking :)
I also broke down & ordered a new one.
