I have 2 of the V2 and they don't leak at all. Fact is that QC on these China product is less that perfect. Sounds like you have an air leak somewhere. Maybe an o-ring issue or some part of your tank is out of spec. I seem to recall I had a tank long ago that drove me crazy with leaks and I finally found that the glass was ever so slightly out of round. Very small manufacturing defects can be responsible for your problem. I would have sent the tank for a replacement if that happened to me. Yea, I know that is a pain but it is not worth fighting a problem you can't see.

It's his second V2, same problem. I also have multiple V2's and no problems. My wicking is not always the way I want it, but still it doesn't leak. Well it leaked once, I closed the AFC all the way before I filled it and then that is when it did leak. After that I always make sure it is full open before I fill. Before that I used to get very minor flooding after a fill, now never. He did try with the AFC full open, but for him that doesn't work either. I found with my Berserker that if I do the opposite of the advice and leave the AFC open it doesn't leak, close the AFC and it makes a mess as soon as I open them. But it still does flood even with the AFC open so I went back to bottom filling the Berserker, just too easy and 100% dependable to waste my time trying to do it any other way.

Mine have never leaked. But this was the tank I switched to rayon for. I have one 24 mm and 1 22 mm (with another on the way). I love this tank SO much. Airflow is pretty flexible but I like vaping mine almost all the way open. It's a fantastic tank, once wicking and coiling is accomplished correctly. I will say I tend to use strong, fruit flavors in this tank, but I have not had flavor issues. It's my favorite RTA to date. I run the berserker on it's short configuration (I prefer the vape) and it also makes topfilling super easy. It's such an unthirsty tank, the sacrifice to 2 ml was just not a problem, and topfilling is a breeze. To me, I'd rather have an easier time with filling, and filling more frequently although I will say my 22 mm Siren V2 is something of a juice drinker, I feel like I fill it non-stop.

I think there may be other, less obvious variables that can have an impact. What might work for one may not work for another. I am definitely a chain vapor. My Evod Pro (now retired) worked real crappy a lot of the time. Then I got a mod and switching between them the Evod started to work better. Still they both would get on the hot side for the tanks. The Berserker was real good, but then seemed to get tighter and less enjoyable. I used to get vapors tongue a lot and it could last a day or more. I now cycle through 4 mods/tanks/flavors, vapors tongue is rare and disappears quickly. The Berserker seems to work even better since it never gets overheated. The air is heavy where I am. I am comfortable with the air conditioning on but it does seem to still have an impact on my tanks. I have noticed that a real heavy rain, late at night really makes a noticeable change in how they all work. Strange, but true.

Howdy folks. I'm a new Siren 2 owner and I am hoping that someone here will be able to help me with an issue that I'm having with this RTA.
I have the 24mm version. I have used 2.5 and 3.0mm coils that have been between 7-10 wraps and I am using 316SS 26ga kanthal. Typically the resistance I'm vaping at is between .8-1.2 ohms. I'm using Japanese organic cotton pads to wick with.
My problem is that I keep getting a burnt taste with whatever juice I'm using. Usually if the tank has sat for a half hour or longer the first or second draw is good but then it starts tasting burnt. I wicked this similar to the way that I wick my Berserkers in regards to the amount of cotton that is inside the coil. I have tried cramming more cotton inside the coil and also tried going with less.
As far wick ends I typically try to keep them short, about even with the bottom of the deck. I never let the juice level get lower than the bottom of the chimney so I don't think that the short tails is causing the issue but I honestly don't know.
I just realized that I should have taken pics of my builds to include with this and I apologize for not having them.

I'm relatively new to the world of MTL vaping. I've been using my Berserkers for a few weeks and have been enjoying the change of pace from my typical DL vaping. I got the Siren 2 because I heard that it was easier than the Berserker to wick and I'm all about ease of use.
Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer.

Don't overstuff the coil, is my recommendation. I actually started using less wick in my sirens, and I get much better wick life and wicking generally. I keep my tails fairly short, but I also thin the tails quite a bit. I think that's important with this tank, as they sit in that little "channel" or "funnel" or whatever you'd call it, and if that's too full, the tails are going to get pinched and probably wick WORSE than thicker tails. I really leave just a very few strands hanging down, and make sure I have "room" for the tails to just get tucked neatly down. The chimney has to screw on without a moment of "adjustment" or trying to "push" it is the best way I can describe it. I also use rayon.

Hope any of that helps?

Too much cotton will certainly give you dry hits with this tank. Remember that cotton expands, so even if you thin out the tails and there's still too much cotton in the coil itself, dry hits galore. If you use pads a good go-to rule is to cut about twice the size of the coil inner diameter and roll the cotton into a tube liek shape - So if you have a 3mm coil, cut 6mm cotton. Eyeballing it is fine.

That's good to know. I appreciate the advice and will be using that on my next rewick. I'm pretty sure that I went with too much cotton on the one I did this morning.

Here are the pics that I took during this morning's rebuild. I used one of the coils that came with the tank. It's 3mm and came out to .96 ohms. Based on what @vBDKv shared with me I'm pretty sure that I started with too much cotton. The flavor this time is still burnt at 12 watts on up. At 9 watts it doesn't taste burnt. In fact it has no taste at all at that low of a wattage.
Thanks again for all the advice and suggestions. I really want to get this figured out because I am really enjoying MTL vaping and would like to find something that is easier to build than my Berserkers and that doesn't flood every time I top fill it.

I'm going to have to upload these pics in two messages

    Somewhere between here and there
I tried nic salts from a couple different places and used them in my diy recipes. At first they were ok but I just didn't feel like I got as good of flavor using them as when using regular nic.

I used them the first time in my other MTL tanks and really enjoy them. I can get a high % of nic w/o an overpowering throat hit.
