The 3ml Kendall monoject syringes will work w/ the steel ones nicely, that's what I use. For the clearomizers you need to use a 3ml BD syringe. They're sold at most CVS stores. They fit the small base of the clear ones.

Thanks turbo, I was hoping I could find tube to fit the clearomizers. It's going to be odd going to cvs and asking for syringes.

Sorry for the confusion, Mike. Here it is with the battery installed.

I turned an adapter on a lathe and pressed the C-E2 base fitting into it to. The syringe fits on that part of it. The part showing below the syringe is just a skirt to fill in the gap. As you can see, a small gap remains for an air intake. Everything you see of this adapter has a thin wall, so it is not as heavy as it looks.

The mouthpiece was also turned on a lathe. It is made from a cast acrylic rod. It fits over the ceramic cup, so a separate filler ring is not required to seal the reservoir.

Edit - I failed to mention. It has a blue LED inside the reservoir.

Nice work BR - What type of lathe are you using for your acrylic? I haven't tried on mine since it only goes down to about 600 rpm.

Nice work br5495~ I was wondering about the light in the chamber... too cool, now if we could get something that changes color, I would be a happy camper! How did you find room in there for the LED?

MadVapes has slow and fast change LEDs, 3mm and 5mm- 3mm probably best for this. Radio Shack used to carry them, but not sure now.

I have an old Sherline model 1000 miniature hobby lathe. It's like the first one you see on this page:
Buying a used machine tool

nice... I've been looking at the milling machine at Harbor Freight, but can't see buying another large tool, but... I am so tempted (I already need a three car garage!)

Hello There!
I was curious if anyone can tell me where to get the best syringes (or what kind they are) to make a larger tank mod -- like the ones storm sold on COV that hold 4ml of liquid -- I am having trouble finding the perfect size.

and also, on the bottle tank mod, how do you put the ce2 in the bottom of it? (the threading-- the end you put on the battery) I don't see a seal or anything down there and I was just curious how that was done.

also, all I have are clearomizers right now, and they are not working like the metal ce2's I used as replacements in the tank before --
The clear tube just slips off - it will not stay in place. Any tips?
Thank you so much!
This is a great thread and I thank everyone for their work -- I am a heavy vapor and I really have enjoyed making and using these tank mods --

If you want to make a real primitive bottle mod, make one like the first one. The base fitting of the C-E2 sort of snaps in place in the neck, and it stays there a little better than the tube for the Clearomizer.

Later on, we made them to seal the reservoir. Here is an example:

YouTube - C-e2 BR Sealed Tank mod with no leaks. (Br/Nick design)

This one holds together better than the first one, and the first syringe mod has the tube cut like this.
