hyperdeficit,
Good video. On your point of using the high 36mg nic juice (at the price you stated - which is correct but they are out of stock ;-) and the point of the extra high nic juice, the point of it being more saft is well taken, but this point on using higher, say 60mg since that's more readily available than 80mg...:
"you'll only be putting 2 drops in here and it won't mix with the Vegetable Glycerine at all" ...is not accurate. There is nothing about the nature of the higher nicotine juice that has anything to do with how well it mixes with the VG. However you do have to have more VG to mix with it, in order to get to a target level of nicotine.
And if my math is right (someone will check it) the deal of $14.99 for 30ml of 36mg nic unflavored even makes it a better deal (as well as safer) than some of the prices seen (nhaler and eastmall) for 60mg. That said, there are tests being done presently, I believe, on actual/accurate nic content and I'm guessing nhaler will score well on that vs. others that might not do as well. So that should be noted in the calculations and price... but:
30ml of 60mg = $35
$35/30ml = $1.17 per 1ml of 60mg nic
30ml of 48mg = $25
$25/30ml = $0.83 per 1ml of 48mg nic
30ml of 36mg = $15
$15/30ml = $0.50 per 1ml of 36mg nic
177ml (6oz) of VG = $6
$6/177ml = $0.03 per 1ml of VG
Target 5ml of 12mg
Using 60mg nic juice:
60mg/5 = 12mg
1ml of 60mg = $1.17
4ml of VG x 0.03 = 0.12
5ml of 12mg = $1.29
30ml of 12mg juice without flavoring = $7.74
Using 48mg nic juice:
48mg/4 = 12mg
1.3ml of 48mg = $1.08
3.7ml of VG = $0.11
5ml of 12mg = $1.19
30ml of 12mg juice without flavoring = $7.14
Using 36mg nic juice:
36mg/3 = 12mg
1.7ml of 36mg = $0.85
3.3ml of VG = $0.10
5ml of 12mg = $0.95
30ml of 12mg juice without flavoring = $ 5.70
Over $2 less per 30ml bottle for using 36mg vs. 60mg at those prices is significant, imo, esp. if you're into bulk diy where you might be making a liter or two. Also the $8 with discount at heaven gifts, healthcabin and other better bulk deals at BestCigs, ecig.com, etc. don't look that expensive when you consider the cost of flavoring and the work involved, although I'm sure it can be rewarding in and of itself and that you can make flavors and intensities that you just don't get with the premade stuff. But something to consider. If 36mg is going to go for $15, the higher mg market should be adjusting to that unless my math is wrong. (possible)
