@IDJoel The coils are what came in the box so I've just been using them, it was all sealed when I ordered it
I finally found it
here. I see that the mesh is included in the kit; though it is not mentioned on the
Melo 4 page.
As for the recommended flavor percentages; I am more than a bit skeptical as to their usefulness/accuracy. There is a multitude of things that can make recommendations that high:
-- The seller. and/or manufacturer, are being lazy and haven't even tested them for what is "ideal" (especially for vaping).
-- Some manufacturers don't openly acknowledge using their concentrates for vaping. Instead, the recommendations are for food/beverage use. (Typically requires higher usage compared to e-liquid use)
-- Reseller is diluting the manufacturer's concentrate, and then re-bottling, prior to sale. This increases reseller's profit margin, and sales volume. Avoid at all costs. Especially, if it is name brand manufacturers, that routinely have lower recommendations on other sites (like E-liquid Recipes, or All The Flavors).
-- They are appropriate recommendations. 15-20% is high for most of today's mainstream manufacturers (Capella, FlavourArt, The Flavor/Perfumer's Aprentice, Flavourah, Inawera, etc.). In fact, Flavor West is the only one I can think of that commonly runs that high.
I am in agreement with
@JCinFLA, stick to known flavor brands. There is just more usable information to be found. In the U.K.,
Chef's Flavours has a solid reputation. For that matter, they even have a strong fan base here in the states, as well.
To experiment with the recipes you have already made; you could try some dilutions. Mix up a small batch of unflavored (PG, VG, and nicotine, at your usual ratio/strength... without any flavor), and dilute small amounts of your already mixed recipes.
Mix small dilutions only... you don't want to end up with 50-100mL of nastiness. 1 to 2mL at a time, should be plenty to tell you if you are on the right track.
I would be inclined to try 3 simple mixes at a time.
-- 1.5mL of original mix, + 0.5mL of unflavored, provides a 25% dilution.
-- 1mL of original mix, + 1mL of unflavored, provides a 50% dilution.
-- 0.5mL of original mix, + 1.5mL of unflavored, provides a 75% dilution.
All three mixes only use up 3mL of each ingredient (original recipe, and unflavored recipe). This should quickly give you an idea if you are over-flavoring.
