Just getting into DIY, a week after dropping the analogues and switching to the loveliness that is vaping.

So far I have used their cherry (not black cherry), their honey, their dark chocolate, and their Oakwood, as well as their sweetener.

For my first go I used 100% PG, with 24mg nic, cherry at about 7%, dark chocolate at about 5-6% and 2 drops of sweetener. This go was not very successful. The throat hit was very strong, I got a sore throat and barely got any vapor.

Tonight I got some USP VG and mixed it at 60/40, with a 12% nic. I used cherry, about 6%, Honey about 6% and Oakwood at 3%, with 1 drop sweetener. This was just what I was looking for. Lovely pronounced flavor, soft throat hit, nice vapor production, and just a very tasty flavor!

Just ordered up some of VZ's concentrated flavors so I'll have to see how they compare!

How exciting!!!

There's a thread related/discussion on VZ flavor. VZ and ecx may not be completely identical. ECX does sell super-concentrated flavorings as well.

Here is the link to discuss VZ flavorings. Enjoy http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-new-super-concentrated-flavors-part-2-a.html

I use 10% DW with good results. I saw Kurt post that he uses 20% DW with good results.

Well, I sure am late into this thread! Not sure if I am going to have the time to go through 300+ pages to find out what flavors people like.

Salem, my 20% DW is for unflavored VG vaping juice. If I am using a normal flavoring, %flavoring + %DW = 22% works well for me, so if I use 10% flavoring I will use 12% DW. These concentrated flavors will probably kill that formula, since it assumes a PG solution for the flavoring.

Flavor types I would be interested in are:
coffees (capellas cappuccino and FA tiramisu are my favorite non-tobacco flavors)
creamies (I like TPA dulce de leche)
vanillas (maybe...have yet to find one I really like, including Cap VC, and TPA vanilla swirl or cupcake)
toffees and caramels

BTW, and a bit OT, some caramel colors have been found to be carcinogenic. Coke is changing their synthesis of these to make safer ones, since the FDA wants them to label coke with cancer warnings. Are there any colorless clear caramel flavors out there?
