...He got to the ginseng, sniffed it once, twice, three times... all the while with a wrinkled up nose. I was getting a kick out of it cuz if it smells bad, why do you need to smell it 3 times? He politely set it down, so I asked what he thought of it. Honestly? Smells like dirt and I don't know what the hell you would use it for! LOL!!! I told him a friend sent it to me, and he said, oh... are you sure it's a friend??? I lost it!

LMAO, too funny. Probably something I'd keep around too. I like some oddball flavorings and I've certainly had a number of people scrunch their noses while smelling flavor concentrates. They mostly only sniffed it twice though - the second time like they just couldn't believe what they smelled the first time. That Ginseng must really be something confounding! Funny thing is no one seems to buy that some flavors come across very differently when you actually vape them (and that they're GOOD as well!).

They sound fine. Not sure about the Al ends, but at least its not delrin.

Polypropylene is listed as chemically resistant. I make my own tanks. I peeked at it and if you have the slightly cloudy type tank it should work fine. I use Polypropylene with silicone grommets as ends.

I went with this setup `cause I wanted to try some TPA Banana and some from flavorart that are known to kill Polycarb tanks. Its a nusance to have tanks bust, but the thought of breathing possible BPA just makes me cringe. I know some say its a myth but why chance it when Polypropylene tubing is less than 2 bucks a foot??

I got the plans in the DIY tank area. If I had the means to cut Pyrex I would be making Pyrex tanks.

Vapor Kings sell the same tanks that I have. They do not have to be cloudy. Many colors are available :)

BTW- I would not get aluminum end caps.

Oh well, just trying to help. I had forgotten about the site saying that part so my mistake.

Hey - every couple 1000 or so good suggestions, you gotta have one slight err. No big - just trying to help as well. :)

ETA: Are there actually colored ones somewhere maybe? They do look pretty cool. The only tank I've been using is the one you suggested I make from a syringe.

Has anyone else noticed with the super concentrated flavors the flavor is dropping off quite a bit after about a week or so? Even mixing a fresh bottle the flavor seems to fall off after opening to concentrated flavoe bottle? Or are my taste bud just wacky right now?

One of two things: you're addicted to a new flavor, or your nic stinks. OK: maybe one of those two, maybe something else. Anyway, I have some nic (from GP - on clearance) that has a flavor that takes over a lot of my flavorings after about a week or two. Another alternative is that you may also be overly-accustomed to a single flavor and as a result, it's lost it's taste. Much like how many smells become an indistinguishable part of the "background smell" after so long.

Other things that can happen might result from left over effects/tastes from cinnamon, menthol, koolada, or possibly even coconut.

But maybe it's just getting weaker?? I think I have actually heard that before too with a flavor or two anyway.

For those wondering about tanks safe for the more caustic juices I suggest the vivi nova. Its $15, the atomizer heads are cheap and replaceable, and you can get metal tanks for under $4. A complete unit with metal tanks and extra atty heads would run no more than $25. Plus, the atty heads can be rebuilt easily, if you like doing that kind of thing.

Additionally, the flavor and vapor production as well as the draw of the unit are fantastic.

I never tried one but have a few friends that have tried them and said they get a burnt taste rather quickly with them. I have also read reviews stating the same. Most say that the first tank is great but thats about it.

Glad to know that you have had a good experience with them though.

I was sent a free Viva Nova tank by a vendor. All 3 heads tasted burnt (1.8........2,4 and 2.8) Didn't matter where I set my VV. I even dragged out an ego and it still tasted burnt. Upon asking questions I discovered I had the Version 1 Viva Nova which was pretty much considered junk and the Version 2 was considered somewhat better and the new Version 2.5 is considered great. My curiosity got the best of me and I ordered 2 Viva Nova 2.5 kits. I've been using one for going on 3 days and 3 tankfuls with the 2.4 head. Good taste, great vapor and I love the screw off ends.

I had a first run vivi and it was a mess. Horrible. The latest version 2.5 has the bugs all worked out and its fantastic. I run the 2.8 ohm heads on my vmax between 3.3v and 3.6v on my vmax. (because of the pwm settings on the vmax I cant run 2.8 coils up to 4+v, but I get the same experience which is great).

Salem, whatever you have heard lately is from people who are either not buying version 2.5 or are buying knockoffs.

I get mine from gotvapes. They are the vendor that developed it with vision.
