I hope that you do ask them to carry NF. Especially the Kona and Caramel. :)

I was all ready to place my order with ECX but decided I really wanted the NF flavors and a larger size of Capella's CDS, so ended up ordering elsewhere.

Is that the regular Caramel that you like from NF? What new flavors did you get from the other place? I am interested in trying the Strawberry Daiquiri and a few others but I have tried many NF flavors only to find that most have a weird after taste IMO

Please do let us know what you try and what you think :)

BTW- Bov sent me some of her beloved Caramel Cream ages ago and I just could not make myself like it as much as I wanted to like it. Just goes to show how different our tastes can be.

Bov has a little trick to get most of the alcohol out of the flavoring but even that does not help for me.

Let me know how your mixes turn out. Curious about the lemon juice/apple cider vinegar mixes.

It hasnt even been 24 hours but the batches I made had a good aroma so I thought I would drip a little.

Theres a very informational thread on this topic that got me playing around with them (Vinegar/Lemon Juice). http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/252238-vinegar.html

Havent tried posting a link before so I hope that one works.

There was only a slight difference between my 3 batches (BnM, BnM+Vinegar, BnM+LJ). It wasnt really better or worse, just a little different. I've noticed significant differences using Vinegar and Lemon Juice on other juices though. Vinegar has been really good on tobacco juices and lemon juice has been very big help on fruit flavors. So far I've only had the following experiences using the Lemon juice and Vinegar. It's either been about the same, better or much better.

Back to Black n Milk.

This is the first tobacco flavor that i've tried and really, really liked by itself. The 3% that was suggested was perfect. Not sure what a slightly higher percentage would be like but might play around with it some later on just to see what its like. The flavor doesnt smell very stroong so I was kind of surprised that the low percentage worked so well. I really like this product. BnM is very good by itself and will make a very good base to use for creating some other tobacco types ive been wanting to try and come up with a good recipe for (applewood, maplewood, cherrywood types). Im not sure how much better this will be after it steeps but im already sold on it. Im glad that I had some to try.

Glad you like it Rl and my thanks again go to Sdh who turned me on to it! I've never cared for tobacco juices either but Fran sent me a pre steeped sample of her Black Mile and it was pretty good. That's what got me interested in the BnM, a mild tobacco combined with the desserty flavors I like. I need to try mine again now that it's steeped for a week or so.

I'm just happy that some of you more experienced vapers have been so willing to help people like me. I would have been lost w/o ECF. I couldnt tell you how much I screwed up when I first started. I went straight from disposable 21st century e-cigs to the provari. I couldnt get that thing to work right to save my life. Error after error after error. I burned up every carto and atty that i got because I didnt know what I was doing. Then I messed up my provari somehow and had to send it back to provape (they fixed it the day they got it, sent it right back, no charges). Had to get by on the cheap disposables again until my provari made it back. I spent a fortune on several different vendors juices that were all terrible and i had to throw away (how do they make it sound so good?) Finally found a couple of good juices and got excited about being able to stick to vaping. Then I jumed head first into rebuildables and DIY. I couldnt make a rebuildable work (ofcourse) and all of my DIY juices were unbelievably terrible ( I mean really, really, bad!!!) I had already joined ECF but was looking for quick answers to everything. It wasnt until I slowed down and actually read what you guys were saying that things started coming together for me. I actually thought that I was pretty smart and could figure everything out for myself, HA!!! Anyway, thanks vets... You guys are awesome.

RI thanks for the update. I have tried the vinegar/lemon juice with other flavorings in the past. They seem to work on nasty flavors..LOL

Anywho, I thought I had MTS vape wizard. I swear I think my dh is taking my stuff. IDK maybe not. Maybe I thought I bought it. I did look through my flavoring and only found bitter wizard. I did the sniff test and decided I didn't want to use this.

I got the NF Kona Cream, Caramel Cream and Sweet Cinnamon. Haven't tried any of them yet but will report back with my thoughts when I do. Hopefully this weekend.

I was hoping that the Sweet Cinnamon would be a bakery type, but it smells like red hots to me. Not what I expected.

@bovinia
What percent do you suggest I use for the Caramel Cream? Sounds like you're the expert on this flavor. :)

On a happy note, today I'm very satisfied with 2 of my DIY flavors and don't even feel a need to pick up a vendor juice. Yippee!!!

Thanks and good morning JJ!!

Yessiree...it is a really good feeling to be enjoying my own simple creations. I'm especially tickled because I just ran out of a vendor's Tiramisu that I was going to order again, but today I'm vaping a DIY Tiramisu and liking it! No need to order more from the vendor. :)

Great Friday photo. LOL

That's a smart idea Jj, I just use a marked test tube type measure.

Gloria, I like my flavors strong, so I mix the Caramel Cream at 20%. Lately I've also been adding a few drops of FA Condensed Milk to boost the Caramel flavor. I usually make this one in a 15ml batch. I vape it right away but it does improve as it steeps.
