How much caramel did you add to the irish cream? I can tell this one needs to step for at least a week. Dripped some today and it was a bit weak, IC mixed at 8% .

If you went 8% IC then I would go 4% caramel. If you want to bump up the caramel then you need to do it in porportion to the IC. Just keep a 2/1 ratio. I also add a few drops of fresh cream to mine.

Im going to wait and let this one steep before I add anything to it. Thanks for the advice !

What % did you go with? I've seen the percentages all over the place with this one. I did a mix with it at 8% and liked it a lot but didnt let it sit very long.
I mixed mine according to Flavour Art's recommendations. 3%. I also read that a supplier says, steep it for a month.

I have enough batches mixed up now that I can try to spare enough patience to let one sit for a while. Ill probably have to give it to someone to hide it from me though.

Sweet! Leave it to scubabatdan to come up with yet another thing I just gotta try. Catching up on that thread - hoping to find a COOP by the end of it :) Thanks for pointing this one out...I've not been spending much time looking at new threads lately.
