Yes, that is what I tasted .. a weird undertaste. Mine was the organic coffee bean flavoring, not the extract.

See, I have always said that too but, I was the only one that tasted it up until now. Hard to describe but maybe almost a chemical like taste? IDK but it is not good and does get stronger as it steeps to me. It is almost nauseating (so, sorry Bov!) I like what I have tried of the extracts so far much better. The alcohol is there but that funky undertaste is not lol

OK the first 2 new to me Essense tobacco's I mixed are T5 and Ry4. Both of these came from VZ as ECX didn't have then when I ordered. I got out the T5 today and noticed the nutty smell was gone.This tastes so much like Hangsen USA I'd swear they were the same. Mis-bottled maybe? I don't care for the USA but hubby vapes it. I'm going to try the Ry4 in a minute. All my new Hangsen flavors came from ECX but haven't steeped enough yet.

I'm curious about this. Has anyone tried the ECX (Hangsen) T5 and USA? Are they similar? I have the T5 on my short list of things to get when I finally have some extra money, but I have the USA and I'm not so into it. Maybe I should bail on the T5.

Ok the t55 you guys all raved about is a Hangsens? Though that was a SC flavor? So confused

I have the ECX Hangsen T5 .. in fact am vaping it right now .. but I dont have the USA to compare. I like the T5, but I have weird taste buds cuz I've heard some people dont care for it. I have the T5 on it's way from VZ too, because I want to compare it to ECX's.

I got some new flavors in this past week. FA Custard, FA Catalin Cream, FA Vienna Cream, FW Vanilla Custard, and Lorann Vanilla Butternut. I mixed some of each flavor and gave them a hot water bath. I've been dripping them all night with an i06 atty, and they are all wonderful! I could actually vape each one of them as a stand alone. But I'm sure they'd make some awesome combinations. I was thinking of mixing with some fruits, chocolate, coffee.

Any favorite recipes? Or ideas?

Are these flavors going to be carto cloggers? I really need your help on this one.

I would love to hear your comparison---I found the two flavors to be not the same at all from the two different places even though both are marked as T5 or 555.

The T5 thing happened by accident .. I started wanting tobacco flavor and didnt care for the ones I had .. then I found 2 brand new bottles that I had put away a while ago and forgot about, Both were from ECX .. one was TE Ruyan 4 and the other was the Hangsen T5. I made the Ruyan 4, mixed it with my little mixer, gave it a hot bath and then tried it .. not bad. Set it inside my dark box where I steep my juices and forgot about it. Saw it in there 2 weeks ago .. it had steeped for a month. Tried it and fell in LOVE. Couldnt get enough of it. Quick made more, mixed part of the steeped one into it so it'd steep faster .. was in vaping heaven.

Went to ECX website to order more .. yikes .. it wasnt there. In it's place is one called just "Ruyan" .. without the number 4. I emailed ECX znd asked if it aas the same as the one with the 4. Got an email back from a gal .. she said it smells the same. I immediately ordered 4 bottles. Long story short .. it is NOT the same!

At that point I was so sad .. but saw the T5 bottle again and made it .. mixed it with the little mixer, steeped it a few days in the dark steeping box and have been vaping it for the psst week.

Do I love it? Nay. But I do LIKE it. And since I cant get the Ruyan 4 anymore then I will settle for the T5. Once I get the VZ one I'll see if they're the same or if one is better.

There is a funky undertone on these (coffee bean) I get as well. I really loved the Malt but the butterscotch, Creams and even the Kona have that same undertone. Dare I say its a weird creamy taste in all of them and there is very little difference between them really. Is it because of the coffee bean format and not just a regular extract?

I actually think most of the cream types and the Kona come from that Malt base. The malt is awesome but I think that tone isn't as prominent in that as the other flavors.

My VZ one isnt going to be here until Monday .. if you've tried both of them what did you think of them? Do you prefer one over the other, or do you hate them both LOL?

The only comparison that I am able to make is the Butter Rum to Butterscotch. I tried the Butter Rum in the coffee bean flavors and it had that sickening undertaste. I have a big bottle of the Butterscotch in the extracts and do not detect the undertaste although the alcohol is there.

I would say that you might want to try a small bottle of the extract from High Desert Vapes in order to decide if you like/dislike. That's what I did before ordering a 2 oz bottle of extract direct from NF.

I agree with you on that. It's hard to explain how much better it's made a few of my mixes. I havent tried it on it's own, ive just used it to liven up a few of my tobacco recipes. I'm sure it would be great in bakery types too but I havent tried it in any.
