From another vendor, to try it out. It smells more like grape bubblegum. It's much thinner in viscosity. Looks to be PG based. I don't detect any alcohol.

I mixed the Hangsen grape. I made two batches. I'm also comparing nic bases. Hey !! This is white grape flavor! It's a nice natural taste. I mixed it at 3% because It smells pretty strong compared to the essence flavors. I'm going to vape them tomorrow. I think we are going to have a blast when ECX gets these flavors up

Hi Will and welcome! I don't have any experience with the flavors you are asking about but I wanted to repost your question in the hopes that some of our wonderful DIY'ers will give some suggestions! Milkshakes do sound good

Im looking for a real tasting strawberry not candy and a nice creamy vanilla and chocolate.Can anyone recommend any of the FW flavors that would be good for any of the blends I want to make?I dont mind having to go higher on the percentages with the FW flavors if they taste really good.Ive also heard that the FA strawberry is good.

I wonder if there's a review thread anywhere regarding Hangsens where anyone has posted descriptions?

There's a few reviews on some Hangsen flavors at at the VZ website. I do like all of their tobaccos though (RY4, Tab, Deluxe, T5, etc.) I don't think anybody else even comes close to Hangsen on tobacco types.

CAP Chocolate Fudge Brownie or TPA Double Chocolate Clear

Thats twice now Ive been told to go with the Sweet Strawberry and Chocolate Brownie so Im leaning towards those.What % would you recommend them at? I have the TPA DC clear and after using it for a while Im not liking it so much.Can you describe the CAP Brownie compared to the TPA DC clear thanks

Ok, i ordered this from ecigexpess, i am sure i am on the right thread now
can some one point me @ what percentage i should go with on the flavors below, are they good alone or should i mix them with something else, as a pointer i hate ry4 and i love black and mild(from diyflavorshack,its called blackjack). Sorry one last question how much ethyle malto or mentol crystals do i mix to pgfor making it a concentrate?
One last thing how do u taste your juice, new attys or carts for each new flavor, If yes pont me to a good deal on a atomize( i never owned one)l, if no do u clean your attys or carts and will they taste the same as new?

Deep, the Fruit Express and Tobacco Express flavors are very concentrated, I would suggest starting those at 2-3% for the fruits, and 1-2% on the tobaccos. Let the tobaccos step for at least a week before you decide if you need to go higher.

I've never used any of the em or menthol crystals, or the other 2 tobaccos you mention...hopefully one of our tobacco aficionado's will chime in

I usually find that Capellas stuff works well around 12%. There are some exceptions, and I've seen other people mention 15% as a starting point. Anyway, I think 12 would be good for those. Then I'd cut it based on how many other ingredients I'm adding. So, if two total, then I'd use 6%. There are similarities between DC clear and CFB, but I think the CFB is a more convincing chocolate and has a richer, creamier taste to it.

The TE pipe & Black Mile I would start at 3%. I just mixed some Black Mile 2 days ago. They need a week for a proper steep. However, I was lazy and waited to the last moment to mix. I am vaping it now. It is still good. The EM I would say 1-2% if you need to add some sweetness or body to a flavor. Menthol crystal I never bothered with. I just buy a bottle of menthol flavorings. I don't do allot of menthol anymore so I rarely use it.

I would also say start out with 3% with the Mango. I am not a big fruit person. However, it seems with the fruits 3% is a good starting point.

I have heard that Flavorwest flavorings which Vapor Renu also owns uses 10% to flavor their liquids. 20% for double flavor. With honeywood I would say start at 8% and work upwards. I have tried it a few years ago. I actually thought I liked it. However, it was not a all day vape with me. After a few times it gave me a sore throat so I stopped using it. I have not tried Smooth...or the fruit express cream.

Thats a pretty good first order, you've got a few really nice flavors. You also came to the right place for advice, I didn't know what the Hell I was doing before I came here.


Smooth (Select Size) (SIG-SMOOTH)
I use smooth as an additive to certain tobacco flavors, you'll get a lot of different opinions on this one. Some people like it as a stand alone, I use it more as an enhancer on some blends.

Ethyl Maltol (Select Size) (DIYETHYLMALTOL)
I hardly use EM anymore. You can add some sweetness to mixes with it or use it to help round out or tone down some flavors. It's best to just start with a couple of drops per ml until you get a good enough idea of what your getting from it. You dont have to add it when you first mix a batch. Try mixing something first, see how you like it, then go back and add a small % of EM so you can see the difference.

Fruit Express Mango 10ml (FE-MANGO)
I'm not much of a fruit type but the Mango is really good. I usually just go with a drop per ml on this one but havent tried it in a while.

Honey Wood Tobacco by Flavor West (TOB-FW-HONEYWOOD)
I actually like this flavor in mixes but not by itself. I've seen a lot of people using it as a stand alone though. I've mixed some at 5% and added some tobacco extract, blue berry flavor and a little sucralose.

Tobacco Express French Pipe 10ml (TOB-TE-FRPIPE)
3 drops per 5 ml on most of the tobaccos (the fine people of this forum turned me on to that) and a drop or so per 5 ml if it's not enough for you. Very good tobacco flavor.

Fruit Express Cream 10ml (FE-CREAM) $3.99
I don't use it that much but alot of people love it. Keep the % lower if your using it as a flavor note.

Tobacco Express Black Mile 10ml (TE-BLACKMILE) $3.99
This is the one that actually got me here. Stumbled accross these guys/gals talking about it one day and decided to finally try it ( I had it for several weeks but never opened it) This one is very good (3 drops per 5 ml)

Menthol Crystals (Select Size) (DIYMENTHOL50)
Some people dissolve a few crystals in some vodka, ever clear, etc. Some dissove it in PG and some dissolve it in VG. Whenever I use the menthol crystals I'll just break off a small piece (about half the size of a tic-tac) and it to my bottle. Hold it under some warm water, shake it real good and let it sit for a bit. I can usually tell by smelling it if it's what I wanted or if a little more is needed.
