I think I've read that it's oil based. Why don't you do another water test. If it forms two layers then for sure it's oil based. Just shake well first

Think is with water its soluble but it leaves behind an oily like residue. Anyway, I think I'm giving up with local brands. Have tried LorAnn and it was really good. Did a small batch of Choc Hazelnut Bavarian Cream and oh boy, my mum was asking what cake I brought to her place...

@oscia care to share your recipe with us if you don't mind? sounds delicious!

I get what you mean when you mentioned oily like residue. i had the same problem the 1st time I did it, and I realised I made several mistakes:
1) I left it sitting on my desk (too close to my computer and exposed to the sun, not good!)
2) too much of flavouring (mixed it 40%)

now with 20% and mixed with PG AND daily shake, looks homogenous to me already :)

15% - Chocolate Hazelnut
15% - Bavarian Cream
70% - VG
Stevia/sweetener at your own preference

I have left my Konny Grape breathing for about a week and it seems homogeneous now. But there is a colour separation.

shake it? you need to shake it to let the unbonded molecules work their way through the mixture.

wow. totally flavoring is about 30%. does it vape very intense flavor?

Flavoring wasn't super strong. It's balanced on flavor and cloud.

The Konny Grape no matter how much I shake and leave it to steep and breathe it just doesn't want to mix. It's been steeping for about 3 weeks now. Everyday shake at least twice. Later will post a pic of it.

try adding unflavoured PG? I did that with a new batch and the emulsion problem went away....

@Jyuz , do a water test. just take a glass of water and add a few drops of the flavour/ test sample. if it floats, then it's oil based. to be super doubly sure, feel free to stir a little (but not too much agitation). after a while, observe for any obvious separate layers. if there is, 101% says it's oil based.

anyone willing to share recipe of the juice you made with local flavourings?
with a little bit of reading in the forum, I'm pretty sure you can find some useful ones. I've done the same, if it is workable for a dimwit like me, it should be pretty easy for you too.[emoji1]

Any ideas on how to get the coldness flavor instead of menthol crystals? Tried menthol crystals but don't really like the taste of it.
Tasted up north flavors like the mango and 7up, they feel damn cold without the menthol taste.

Using it with my current STM and Billow V2 btw...
sounds like TPA's Koolada to me

Konny Grape as mentioned with colour separation.

After shaking to make it homogeneous, it turned cloudy.

Gonna try to vape a bit of it now. Will update.
