DIY.... TRADE a flavor..?

Since i was the OP, I guess I'll toss out my 2 cents to all the questions and stuff below..

For the most part.. I believe we were all waiting on the bottle orders to arrive (THANK YOU SARAH!!) so that we could participate. Therefore, the thread was stalled and just idling.

As to the purpose: I suppose it's two-fold.. requesting samples of flavors you may not have ordered, or if you need that ONE missing ingredient to complete the recipe you saw on such-and-such a thread... AND.. even doing swaps if there are several flavors you'd like to try, perhaps then you would like to offer a trade.

Whatever we end up doing, I don't think anything is set in gold. It was more of a 'why don't we try this?' kind of thread. So there are no set rules.. it's whatever we make of it. (I do think a PIF type set-up is a duplicate of the DIY PIF thread, unless it's an occasional offering, I don't see basing the entire thread on that format) But I'm open for anything!

My concern is with the posting of everyone's lists. I'm just worried that once this thread takes that direction, this will turn into the PIF flavor pantry and that could quickly get out of control. I have a good stock of flavors and I look forward to being able to help out anyone who needs a specific flavor or 2 for a recipe or just something they want to sample before they order. However I don't have a big enough stock of flavors to supply everyone who might be interested in a flavor just because they've seen it on my list or they think they want to start DIY.

Plus by posting lists, I think it would get very confusing for the trades to be on the thread so most people would use PM's and the mods have asked for all pif'ing to be done out in the open.

So I won't be posting my list but I'll be on the lookout for any posts requesting specific flavors and if I have it, I'll be happy to share

Med: I didn't know the CA PIF died. bummer!! I also looked around here last night.. I didn't see any actual rules that said you couldn't participate.. but I think it's probably just an "up to each person" kind of thing.. seeing how the shipping will be slightly higher. Don't think they want to 'force' anyone to pay for higher shipping.

Yes that's the purpose for me, too. I don't have it in me to keep posting all my flavors. I had a hard time doing it once and now I can't update it on my post. And I still want help with recipes using the flavors I have.

BTW the mod here http://.................... emailed me again and said you can add any of the recipes to your 'likes' and save them by hitting 'adapt' and changing what you want, then hit 'private'. It goes to your private list or 'heart' to save the original recipe posted. It looks like it posts it to the main thread when you click 'private' but it really doesn't. Only you can see it.

The seedman cherry seems to have a bit of aftertaste, iirc. Their commercial is an excellent base for tobacco blends, use the concentrate at about 12% (i have a large bottle of it). Seedman menthol is pretty good, too, as is their vanilla.

I've got a good black cherry from natures finest, no aftertaste in my cherry tob blend, if you would like to try a bit.

(if it is paula who is looking, I have a mint flavors extract assortment pack coming from faeries finest, should be here in a couple days)

My first few batches were at 17 & 25 mg, using 20% peppermint. The mg would be marked on the label.

I am looking for a little bit of Wintergreen for my very good Dessert juice, will send some of the dessert juice as a trade or I have some meringue, homemade sweetner, marschino cherry......etc......Just let me know, I can get something out to you, I hope.

Tib - I have nf pg free black cherry (very good, I use it for a pg free cherry tobacco), blackberry (good, tho not too strong, I mix it with nf brandy), banana and strawberry (both good).

(with nf vanilla, I now have a pg free vananaberry )

mark, can i trade with you? i'm not much for sweet flavors but fruit flavors are worth a try. i just wish i could find a watermelon, that flavor kept me from smoking completely in the beginning before i ended up with the allergies.
nikhil's watermelon does not have the same effect, or maybe i'm not mixing it right, or it's the ecopure base, lol
he was so nice to include samples of some pg-free flavors with my order but those don't appeal to me. the cake batter aroma is very strong, and just like the real thing, if only it were watermelon!

Have you tried Juicy Liquid? They have pg free flavors, including watermelon. I don't have any of that or I'd send some your way. I've used other flavors from there and I think they're terrific.

Worth a shot. Buy the "naked" which is flavor only.

Tibby: does the ecopure base have any flavor to it? Or is it plain vg nic? Have you tried working with vg based nic?
I am sending out your driptip tomorrow and looking for something else to put in it. (like to get my moneys worth of the stamp!). Can I send you a little vg based plain nic to try?

lol, l'bug, didn't you vape any of the ecopure we got in the coop? it has a very subtle taste of its own and mixes well. i'm not much of a diy person, just trying to spice up the ecopure since that's all i've been able to vape since last may. and believe me, that gets boring after a while, lol.
i gladly try a plain vg/nic to see what that does to my flavors - thanks a bunch!!!!

Ok, the dust has settled after the FA co-op and after mixing and taking some inventory, I have some flavors I would love to trade.
I have more Butterscotch, Cocoa, Catalan Cream, Orange, Peach and Condensed Milk than I will ever use
I would love to trade some of these in equal amts for anything fruity, creamy, coffee, caramels etc (PA, FA or Capellas)
or even some unflavored nic
