Right behind you...
What is a balanced charger?

A charger that will provide charge to multiple batteries at the same time and at the same rate in a multi-battery device.

Kind of important since it's best to keep batteries used in the same device "married" so they all see the same charge and discharge values, otherwise you could have one battery working harder than the other(s), and that can lead to several problems.

A regular charger won't do the same if you connect to it 2 batteries in parallel. Sorry for ignorance if you want me to shut up I will :D

OK, clone vaporflask v3 is in the house and I will share my first impressions.

Unboxing:

Nice package with mod, box, bag, instructions. It is about the same size as the Cana/Hana enclosure and takes two 18650s

Size:

Feels nice in the hand, same as the original. I am related to Sasquatch so your hands may be different.

Function:

Works as expected in each mode and vapes instantly from sleep. All button functions appear identical to the original chip. There is no C mode as far as I can tell. It has stealth mode and left/right mode.

510:

The 510 connector is not amazing, but is adjustable and solid. It looks like a copper alloy of some sort, seems tough when a sharp edge is applied.

Usage: Vapes well, seems solid. It lacks a USB charge port, but there is one in the works that will feature one, but one could be added onto this mod as there is plenty of room. This one came from 3Fvape for $68.00. It will run off of one battery. I had some issue with it displaying weak battery until I tightened the compartment screws. All in all I think it is a shockingly small dual 18650 TP mod that is affordable and has some modding potential. I have a second one coming that will be turned into a bottom feeder and will experiment with putting on a FD 510.

Well...honestly I thought I had a dud until I took a quarter out and when another half turn...past what I though was ideal...and boom...no more weak battery. Been vaping on it so much to test it that my head is swimming...but all I have juice wise on hand is 33mg.

Oh - your talking about the battery plugs. I thought you were talking about the top plate screws. Either way though it might account for flaky bat bars.

I put Noalox on my Bat Plugs as before I even used it the first time. I just don't trust aluminum threads to make a good connection.

"Head swimming" I have that problem every time I get a new mod or Atty. Sometime I really over do and start getting hot-flashes at the same time. The only thing I don't get that I use to get when I dipped is the hiccups. I'll tell you just a little pinch of dip and I will have the hiccups for 15 or 20 minutes.

After a divorce five years ago I started back smoking AND dipping. I dropped the smokes in August of 2014 and dropped the dip two weeks ago. Going to make this a tobacco free year.

Blueridge,

You'll make it. Vaping for me has been some kind of White Magic... really. I tried everything else under the sun from willpower, gum, patches and RX drugs. Nothing worked until one day I went into a cigarette store and the girl behind the counter was vaping. I asked her I thought ya-all didn't allow smoking in here not knowing what she was using.

She told me about vaping sold me a starter kit and some juice. It took about two weeks for the vaping to fully kick in and one evening I was out of smokes and started to go to the store and said to myself I have plenty of e-juice and don't really feel like go to the store. Short story - that was the last day I smoked a cigarette.

There is something about vaping I don't no what it is except it works. :toast:

My story..... 2 packs a day of non-filtered PallMall for forty years...patches, gum, pills, and etc. too many times to count.... picked up an e-cig... vaped and trashed the cigs the same day... never looked back....that was September of 2010...... :):)

A one day switch over borders on miraculous considering where you came from. I have learned that there is some intangible component of vaping that makes it work but from two packs a day to zero is pretty stupendous. I salute you Mr. retird. :toast:

I learned a curious thing about the relationship between the amount of smoking and the dependence of nic. It isn't proportional.

I used to smoke 30 cigs a day and a close friend used to smoke 60. When I ran out of smokes I would get all grumpy but my colleague would go absolutely ballistic.

5 years ago, we both started vaping and curiously we both had more or less the same needs in terms of nicotine strength and quantity of juice.

I spent some time thinking about how that was possible. I mean, the guy smoked twice as much as myself and showed 5 times as high withdrawal symptoms than I did.

I came to the conclusion we both were probably addicted to the same amount of nicotine. Although I smoked half the cigs he did, I used to double puff and smoke a cigarette twice as fast as he did. He would light at cig after another (and sometimes two at the same time) but would only occasionally draw on it, I've seen countless cigs burned alone in his ashtray.
Bottom line, he was more addicted to the act of holding and lightning up a cigarette than to the nic itself and when we switched to vaping, back then, we both used to use 90ml of 24mg per month. The smoking addiction is a very complex one with more than just chemistry involved :)

Just had a weird thing happen with my Vapor Flask KX-40D clone. I was doing an informal battery longevity test and when the battery icon showed no lines, the flask would fire at 30W@420F when I had it set for 15W@420F in TC mode. Kanthal mode worked fine. No amount of resetting or removing batteries would stop it. I even moved the temp and watts around. A new set of freshly charged batteries cured it and now the flask is back to normal. Anyone else try a battery check and see that?

Well, they wanted to distinguish it from the hana, or at least the previous clones. It's a much better build. But that didn't stop them from slapping DNA 40 on the box. Sometimes I think it's a language issue. As in: DNA 40 refers to a method and not a chip. Hana refers to a style not a mod. It's so blatant .There must be a plausible reason. I mean, why embarrass themselves intentionally as no one is fooled. They could have called it anything. It's a fine device.
