Hello all, glad to see this forum here. On the way to work this morning my girlfriend ordered me a free trial. When she told me how this free trial worked I was amazed that a free trial cost $60 USD! She is only trying to help. I do realize I can't mention the companies name here and will abide by the rules. Can any person offer me advice? The free trial was ordered today 7/28/2010.

Thanks

I discovered that such a thing as an e-cigarette existed on Sunday (July 25th). After several hours of research, mostly on this forum, I ordered 2 Joye Egos and 15 ml of ECOpure menthol from Cignot today ($84.00).

While researching I was surprised to find out that despite smoking Kool filter kings for over 25 years, I had no idea how many drags I took on one cigarette. It turns out to be 7 on average.

I never use these forums, but I would like to post a follow up on my experience if I can add anything constructive. Where would be the proper place to do that?

Hi,

I also was unfortunate enough to fall into the trial scam, but quickly, the very next day, called to cancel it. They told me though they just shipped it out 20 minutes before (likely story) and that I would have to send it back once I received it. I wish I had found this forum about an hour before I ordered them. I ended up choosing to go with the joye tech 510 starter kit, I should receive it within the next day or so. I am still smoking analog cigarettes (Newport lights) and ordered from a company suggested on this site for its flavoring that pretty closely resembles the real thing. I am anxiously awaiting to see if I can kick the "dirty" habit.

You have to have 5 posts before you can post anywhere but the New Members forum.
Having said that, the New Members forum is probably the best place for that anyway.

Just start a new thread and let us all know how you're doing.
We love to hear success stories.

And we also love to help those who are still struggling.
Which hopefully won't be you, but might be.
:)

I am glad for those radio ads, I heard them here in Oregon and was fascinated by the concept of smokeless cigarettes. I called up for the free trial and they wanted $70 for 4 weeks of cartridges in order to get the free e-cig, I said no way and turned to google. Thanks to these forums I found what I wanted for MUCH cheaper. And now I'm ready to start posting here. Thanks everybody! Been carrying a pack of cigarettes in my pocket for 4 weeks that I've hardly touched, won't be buying another pack because I love my PV. Even if they suddenly invented a "healthy" cigarette I'd stick with the PV.

And you won't either...

PayPal owns Ebay, or the other way around, and PayPal has e-cigs and associated items on their "Unacceptable products" list and will ban (permanently) anyone found to be selling the product or associated items.

So, if you do any business with anyone using PayPal in regards to e-cigs, NEVER mention the product in any correspondence PayPal is likely to read or that person/business, and maybe even you, will be banned forever.

The PayPal thing is kind of interesting. I really wish they didn't take the "high and mighty" attitude. They pretty much won't allow you to use their service to purchase anything that requires an "adult" age limit. I guess there are some good reasons for that but it's kind of a pain. I don't like plastering my credit card number on the internet for purchases but, I do it out of necessity.
