Do vapers have a tendency to try to convert smoking friends and relatives?

i have not had this situation, but if someone were smoking and interested I would tell them all about it as I know it. But I do not feel the need to convert the earths population. As it is very few of my family smoke now that I dont.

When I see a smoker I will give them an ECF card and suggest they check out this forum.
But I only spend the time explaining things to people who show an interest.

I don't really know many smokers and the ones I do don't really show a lot of interest in it so I don't push the issue. If I were to be questioned about it, I would tell people how life changing it is. I probably won't actively pursue smokers though.

Same here. I am more than glad to explain everything to someone who shows an interest. Most of my friends know about e-cigs already and I was the last smoker in my immediate family. Some of my young nephews smoke but they are well aware of ecigs because many of their college friends vape.

Sure seems that way. I know I do. We have converted a bunch of smokers in my family of friends. It all got started with one lone vaper about 2 years ago. Now there are like 8-10 of us. Only people I will not talk into vaping are nonsmokers. Had one friend who use to smoke but quit when she developed COPD and she asked if she should try it and I said (expletive deleted) no. Until i hear that this is not better than smoking I will continue to pass on the message.
