come to think of it lmao we couldnt name our KID until sis in law stood in the room and rattled off name after name after name ....hahhhaaha
Wow...I never thought about naming anything but kids and pets. I've never even named my plants or favorite cars/trucks! I think i have a 'nameing gene' missing cus i know I'm in the minority here!
PS- Is 'nameing' even a word? LOL
lol....nope...I don't think you are in the minority....like I said...mine aren't named....heck, I'd probably get them confused anyway...I can't tell you how many times I stumble over names....I have called my son by my brother's name or one of the dogs....I have called my brother by my son's name, my step-son's name, and again a dog....lol....Even the dog's I don't get right all the time

Every batt has it's own personality (as do most electronic devices it seems), so they deserve a name Ms. Catmommy. Just trying to figure out the right one for the latest batt, still figuring out his personality.
It's not about naming them to make things harder...it's about naming them to make it easier (but maybe that's just me cause I put things down and need help finding them).
I had a GREAT XL Manual Chrome with a VERY Bright Blue LED...I Loved it and called it Ice. Yelling "Where's Ice" is way easier than yelling "Where's my XL Manual Chrome with the Blue LED"...
lol Catmommy....I can only imagine the trouble I'd see in my house yellin "where's Ice" I would literally get ice and probably down the back of my shirt

Sorry, I don't name mine either. I leave all the naming to the dh. He's named all our pets. Except for the newest one, he told me I had to name him. It took me all night to come up with something very obvious. I'm not original. Even my screen name, I have no imagination!

No. I don't name my batteries/hardware. I used to think I was odd for naming my cars, at least people looked at me like I was crazy. Purrsonally I draw the line at naming my batts. I am eccentric enough without that

I bought Genie from a dear friend of mine here on ECF. They aren't being made anymore...I believe the vendor/maker went out of business. It's sad really...I'd buy another one for sure...and I think many people would buy one (or two!). Madhatter was the maker.
I have one that used to be named "my favorite", but since it's a platinum shorty and discontinued forever, I've taken to calling it "the passenger pigeon".
