Today is payday WOOT!, so I want to order a tank, but first I have one question for OCD or anyone who's gotten the Solid Color Tubes...

My fave color is purple... which of the solid colors is closest to purplish? I have my eye on the Crimson, Merlot, Royal Blue, and Sapphire. Since I can only get one right now, I want the one that's closest to purplish in color.

Thanks in advance :D

Hi epage, the girls tell me the Crimson is the closest to purple. The merlot is a little more reddish like burgundy.

I just got the Crimson 19mm XL last week, and I can tell you that it's a great looking tank (especially with the SS caps). :D

I am dying here!! :lol:I read the entire 29 pages of this thread and saw lots of thingy's how awesome is that?! ( hey I've been married for 22 years, not often I get to see someone else's thingy!!) What I don't know is how do you fiddle with them?

I am looking to order and I am looking at merlot but I have no idea what caps to order that would match... I LOVE the copper caps but I am not so sure they would match up well? I have a SS Zmax and want it to look pretty.. not girly pretty because I am not a girlygirl but BA pretty. Suggestions? Oh and while you're at it, suggestions on how to sell this to the hubs who is already irritated because we've saved ZERO money switching to vaping instead of smoking... lol Oh 1 other thing.... the ceramic drip tips can those be used with juice that reacts negatively to plastic or are those along the same lines as acrylics?

THANKS and the more I read the more I want to play with my own thingy!! ;)

I don't know about the colors... they all look good! I tend to order the clear tanks with colored end caps. The acrylic Tequila Sunrise is really pretty. Oh... to fiddle, erm... ummm, you just put the tank into the thingy and screw and unscrew the cap of the thingy. The IBT tanks fit them perfectly, so it, erm, happens rather quickly, but other tanks take longer as they don't fit as well.

I think that's what I'm gonna do initially - order the clear tank with a set of colored acrylic end caps.

I've got the acrylic Stained Glass end caps in my cart as we speak, as a matter of fact... just debating at checkout... I always do that and I don't know why!! Maddening, 'cause I sure never hesitated at the checkout when I was tossing SIXTY bucks at the cashier for the rotten, stinking carton of analogs every 7-8 days... smh...

Must just be my mind saying to myself, "Self, ya know, your cart's only totaling $26.50... perhaps we should choose a second setup?"

Imma Guess Sennie otherwise hubs has kind of an odd name. Cant really help much on the color coordination, sorry, its just too personal ;)

On the drip tips though I have never heard of anyone having issue with acrylic tips when using what I call caustic juices, the drip tip doesnt actually come into contact with the juice. The ceramic tips should be fine too.

The thing about saving money over smoking. The Mrs and I both switched January 7 and we were in the red for about the first four months because I was buying everything. My justification was we were switching to get away from cigs not to save money and I wanted to make sure we had every opportunity in making sure we were successful. Eventually the balance will tip, it does for everyone other than maybe the most hardcore mod collectors but even in their case they have something of value they could sell or trade rather than ending up with a bucket full of ashes. Until the balance does tip just tell him that you are ensuring your success and enjoy his goodies ;)

Exactly! I haven't bought tons of stuff, but I know the first few months were pricey. Now I look at my signature and I'm sure that I havent' spent that much.... Finally in the black. :)

Yeah those cig counters are great. Some folks dont care for em but I love seeing what I didnt spend on cigs. For the Mrs and I double my counter, we were dropping $55 every 4 days and had nothing but ashes and trash to show for it other than a terrible wheezing that was setting in on me. Now we gots toys and it costs us about $30 a month for both of us for the maintenance stuff which is cartos and DiY juice so we can easily spend a couple hundred dollars on something nice if we want it on any given month and it doesnt hurt our feelings at all.

Again though, I just want to emphasize that we did not switch to vaping to save money and I understand there are a lot of folks for who that is an important aspect. If it is a driving part of the switch thats cool too... whatever eliminates the stinkies. There are loads of ways to vape on the cheap and tons of resources on the net for helping out with that. I know our store is not rock bottom on pricing but that because of what we marketing but we have brought down the entry level into glass goods for vaping tremendously from where it was just a few months ago when we decided to open IBTanked and we are working very hard to make these products even more accessible without sacrificing at all quality.

EDIT*** Forgot to mention the IBTanked cig counters are available in a variety of colors by clicking on the About Us page on the site.

lol yes Sennie is the wife side of the team. I am kinda excited that I am not stuck with the SS drip tips if I want to throw some color in there. Now dammit why can I not get a straight answer from a guy on color coordination though? Sheeeesh!! lol

Hubs says the same thing basically. He says he isn't worried about what it costs as long as it keeps us off of cigarettes, but then he says it's almost Christmas and reminds me we have kids and grandkids we still need to buy gifts for, and he's right.... just gotta stay focused on the important things right now. I can't even imagine being able to be a big time collector although some of those things look REALLY cool!!

Thanks for your help!!:)

OCD... on the contrary, I believe your prices are quite fair, some things are a little higher, but some are a little lower, it evens out in the end. :)
Part of the reason we quit was to save money but mostly for health reasons. AND I think I was the WORST smoker in the history of smokers. I HATED the smell, still do, I HATED being stuck in a car with smokers, stuck in a house with smokers, the way my room smelled after I smoked 1. The only time I even reach for a smoke is when I'm ...... or stressed out. I don't miss them a bit!! Last weekend I went to a club, went outside to the smoking area to vape because frankly I was too buzzed to want to deal with drama if vaping wasn't allowed inside. Anyway while out there with all the smokers, smelling their cigarettes was just weird! I didn't even want 1! Not even 1 craving; THAT excited me to no end!! :) If it wasn't for this forum, members like all the ones that have helped me, and venders like you, I don't think I would be in the same place as I am. For that I am Grateful!! THANK YOU!!:)

Congrats Sennie, very much the same for us in how easy it was to transform from being smokers into being vapors. The only thing I really noticed was for the first few weeks I would pat my shirt pocket where there was normally a pack of smokes then remember I didnt do that anymore and pick up my vape. I did start with a 24mg tobacco-y type juice that was just horrible enough to remind me of of those Red Box smokes we have been reducing to ashes.

I hated that too! I had to wash my hands constantly, (I'm a knitter, handspinner, and weaver), chew gum, and wear tons of perfume just to be around myself. I might qualify for the worst smoker ever too because I did not own an article of clothing that did not have little burn holes in it.

Oh I still reach for them every once in a while then I'm like ugh I don't smoke anymore. Like I said usually only when I am ...... or stressed. I've vaped sweet coffee flavors since I found them. I really don't like tobacco flavors with the exception of USA mix and that isn't too bad. All of the others taste nasty to me and some the smell of them actually make me gag (American Tobacco)!!

Hi guys, sorry I havent gotten the contest wrapped up but will get to it tomorrow. Had a very busy weekend then drove down to the LA area to pick up one of our Daughters who is visiting for the holidays. That means nine hours in the car after getting the days shipping together. We did get the opportunity to stop in at The Vapor Loft in Orange to deliver an order to them so if you are in the SoCal area stop in and say hi to Paul and Denise, they have a real nice shop there and really seem like great folks.
