That worked! How do i prevent this from happening again? And what did i do wrong at first?
HI Obi Wan TN, There are loads of things that will affect how a cartomizer behaves. This is why a lot of folks have a disdain for them I believe. Once you get a MO down that matches you they are so easy to use which is why they are obviously my own favorite. Below are some things to consider
Draw - How hard and long of a draw you take will affect how much eLiquid is pulled into the carto each pull. Short hard draws will pull in proportionally more than is being vaporized because it causes a higher level of vacuum and has heat to it for leas time. Long slow draws are just the opposite creating a lower vacuum and longer heating time on the coil.
Heat, with VV or VW you can adjust this by changing the lower level. With a straight battery device you can adjust this by using a different ohm cartomizer. The lower ohm or higher V/W will vaporizer a higher proportion of liquid per draw. I will often pop the heat up a little to settle down a carto that is wicking a little too fast.
Hole(s) - This one I think has less to do with things than others unless you take a really big swing at it. I say this because I have used single tiny hole and multi huge hole cartos without a whole lot of change. That said the above draw style changing may change more rapidly with more/larger holes.
Viscosity - This again I believe to be a more minor difference. The Mrs uses almost straight VG where I use mainly PG, both in the 2 hole Smok cartos. She tends to run her voltage pretty low compared to mine which is low to begin with.
Thats some thoughts to get you heading in the right direction hopefully. Like I mentioned above it is so much of a fit to your style sort of thing when using cartomizers and getting them to be consistent, once you find that match though it is tough to beat.
