I think I shall take some advice from Racehorse and move my vapouriser away from where I'm sitting to avoid over consumption should I ever feel my intake is becoming a problem.

And it may not be a problem for you, or anyone else, to keep it almost permanently attached.

It's an individual thing, and also based on goals you may have, or not have.

One of my goals when quitting the stinkies was to ween off not just high nicotine, but also ween off addictive type *behavior* in general.

Hence, the cutting back to 2 cups of coffee a day, as opposed to my once over-indulgence. I do find my sleep is better as a result, and i have found the same to be true with vaping ..... high nic at end of day tends to overstimulate me. Hence, I do not get good sleep.

And, while I do not feel that vaping is dangerous, I figure why put *anything* into my lungs if I don't absolutely "have to"? As a previous smoker, I am well aware that i have abused lungs. My aim is to make them as comfortable now as possible, and that includes vaping less.

I tend to limit myself to how long it takes me to finish my coffee at work. In that time I used to have 1,2,3 analogues. Now I just vape till coffee done. Sometimes it feels like I'm having me but it taste so much better. Made the mistate of having an analogue once and it taste like ..... Found myself vapping straight after and enjoying it so much more.

I agree with you, since I quit smoking I've also dramatically cut down on my sugar and caffeine intake also :)

This is one reason I switched to dripping I find 3 to 5 drops is equal to one cigarette in duration not to mention the awesome flavor you get from dripping

I see your dripping and raise you raise you 3 rba's. lol, It always cracks me up when people say dripping taste so much better. Better than what? A clearo, yes, I agree, a carto, hmm maybe, I'll give you that, a quality built genesis, or micro coil on a Kayfun, Steam Turbine, SQuape, Ithaka, umm, no. No fraking way. I can set my Kayfun style rba in drip mode, Always do this after a new build or re-wicking the coil, to make sure it's breathing properly, and to test new juices. It's basically a dripper inside a 4.3ml tank. And the vape is just as good when I am dripping as when I have the tank installed and filled. The only difference, is my tank will last a full shift at work, Drip, drip, vape, vape, drip drip, vape vape drip vape, thanks, no thanks, got some tanks. lol

Wow, you just blew my mind. Never realized it until I read your post. I think my need to vape has been overtaken by a desire that's even stronger. :vapor:

That's pretty much my main point, Vape is Vape, it's just the right thing to do.

If I had only one device, with one liquid, I think stopping wouldn't be a problem. But when you have tanks and atty's and clearos in reach each with something new to offer..... Stop? Why stop?

What!! one liquid, one flavor, Are you insane!! Never, lmao. Love to rotate my tanks, Always take 2 flavor with me at work, and have three at home tanked and ready, minimum. 2 ADV;s and one TBV. That's All Day Vape and Test Batch Vape. Yeah, agree, why limit ones self.

Interesting posts, thanks :)

Fortunately I don't seem to have encountered any nicotine overload symptoms such as head rush from using a vapourizer.

Dude, either your nic level is to low or you need a better atomizer. If you haven't had any nic spins while vapping you are doing something wrong, or you are only taking 2-3 hits at a time. lmao.

With vaping i find it easier to overdo the nicotine intake, resulting in a headache.

Most head aches are the result of not drinking enough water while vapping, PG dehydrates you. And if you are vapping a lot, need to drink even more water. Though high nic level will tend to intensify these head aches. It's not so much as over doing the nicotine, as it is not maintain proper hydration levels. Over doing nic results in dizziness and blurry vision, and forgetting to drink water. lol

Well, all I can say is that additive behavior is a direct result from an additive personality trait. It's an inherent gene, that cause the addictive behavior. Live an obsessive compulsive disorder. People who don't have an addictive nature don't get addicted to things, unless they are tied down and forced to consume, ingest or are impelled to take an addictive substance until they are addicted. It's a predetermined genetic marker.

I was a pack\ pack and a half smoker 8 months ago. Constant chain smoker. I do the same with vaping. It's always with me and most of the time I'm puffing. I've been on 18mg since switching, but recently have been making my mixes 16mg. I'll probably continue to drop by 2mg in the coming months. Not sure what I'll stop at quite yet, or if I'll get to 0 nic. Playing that by ear, we'll see how it goes.

When first starting vaping I didn't really know the mg difference, resulting in me buying 24 mg for the buzz and would get a headache.

I recently went back to vaping and personally feel like 12mg is the perfect remedy for me ATM. I plan on dropping down to virtually nothing, but we shall see how it goes.

As far as vaping all day, I tend to have that problem when bored and not at work. However, I always compare my vaping to how many cigs I would have that day and it makes me smile.

Best wishes
