Do you miss anything about smoking?

I would put the filter in between my teeth, and light the cig. That initial first drag right when you light it up. I miss that.
Oh, and I go to the casino. And when my machine hits the "bonus spins" THATS when I would light up a cig.

The smell in my mouth, clothes, hair, fingers...the taste in my mouth like I just licked an ashtray, how hot, dry my mouth was. I dont miss that AT ALL.

Im glad wrote what I DONT miss, bc that first line of what I wrote REALLY made me miss it.

I prefer my PV, no question, but I do miss the feel/lightness of a cigarette in my hand. Too bad cig-a-likes don't work well. Even though it's been over a year and a half for me, I still look for lighters from time to time as well. I went digging through my purse for a few seconds yesterday before I remembered I didn't have a lighter.

I miss the simplicity.

Don't get me wrong..I love vaping. I enjoy the flavor and the gadgetry and the whole experience of vaping! I love the community (far flung as it might be in my case). I never really enjoyed smoking like I really enjoy vaping. BUT! Sometimes the fiddling gets on my nerves. Late at night in bed, wanting to read a book. Get out a new box of cartos...fill one and it's burnt right out of the box. Same with the next one. And the next. Grrr. Switch to a cartotank with a different brand carto....now I have to fill the carto, fill the tank, prime, try not to drop the drip tip in the sheets, dealing with the needle bottle and the little caps. Oops..overfilled. Got to blow out some juice. Something's wrong. It's not drawing right. Where are the bubbles? Is it primed enough? Battery just died. Dangit. Got to get up and get another battery. Change battery. Okay...seems okay.

Before I could just tap a cig out of it's pack, pick up a lighter and light it. If the lighter was out of fuel...I had a pack of matches in my bedside table. Easy.

But that is ALL. I just miss the simplicity.

That initial headrush from lighting up that first cigarette... I miss that. I'm still getting used to not having a finite time of puffing for some reason too... other than that, I'm two weeks into vaping and I love the benefits.

That will be weird for a while and then it will just be natural for you to start and stop vaping ...... or you could just never put your PV down. :vapor:

I have finally found my consistency with Boge cartos and fat batteries. The key to not burning is to let the carto sit for quite a while after filling and top off often. Still more fuss than lighting a cigarette, though. Much better than dealing with atomizers and all this new fancy stuff they keep coming out with. It's funny when I read threads and people are like " These work GREAT! Just get out your pliers and adjust the wick and make sure you follow this complicated cleaning process once a day! " LOL

Hello. I joined this forum because it helped me so much in making the leap from cigarettes to vaping. People here had such positive things to say about quitting "stinkies", and good information about how to fill your clearomizer, how much is normal to vape (as much as you want, apparently).

Honestly, I still crave cigarettes, but I am so, so happy to be free of the demon lover tobacco, I simply grab my ego-T every time I think about wanting a cig. It really does make the craving go away for a while, and helps me keep putting time between me and my old habit.

This is my day 16 as a nonsmoker.
