Let's see:

Do I miss spending over $60 a week on cigarettes? Absolutely not.

Do I miss smelling lousy all of the time? Not at all...and my wife hasn't .....ed at me for a couple of months now.

Do I miss an ashtray full of butts? No...and now I'm environmentally aware because I don't toss 200 non-degradeable filters in the trash each week. I'm thinking of joining GreenPeace.

Do I miss the feelings of panic when I'm running low on cigarettes? No...and now I have my own ejuice supplies so I ain't gonna run out of anything.

Do I miss the social aspect of smoking? No, I have strong anti-social tendencies to start with.

Do I miss looking cool when I smoke? I wish that I could say yes, but I'm too old and out of it to look cool at anything.

Do I miss the simplicity of smoking cigarettes? Maybe, but I'm also married and I realize that sometimes the trade-off of complicating things up a bit is worth the effort.

So when it's all said and done, I don't think that I miss anything about my pack and a half a day cigarette habit.

I think I would miss the social aspect/extra breaks at work part of it, but I usually go outside to vape when I'm at work or school, or another public place (coughbarcough) anyway (all the cool kids hang outside and smoke anyway ;-) ). I've found that vaping is as good, if not better, a converstation starter as smoking is! ^_^

I miss nothing about smoking. I look back on it as an unhealthy and clumsy method of satisfying the nicotine craving I'd developed. Most of all, I don't miss feeling guilty about indulging in the habit. I'm a nurse on a cardiac step down unit, and every time I used to light up an analog, I couldn't help feeling a little bit hypocritical. Also smelly. Everything I thought I liked about smoking is better with vaping.

I have been vaping for one week, and I haven't completely ditched the analogs yet (I've smoked 5 in the last 7 days). I don't think I will miss the analogs at all because they stink and taste really nasty compared to vaping. I already miss my Zippo though. I find myself lighting my Zippo just for the smell, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep carrying it around with me for at least a little a while.

After four months vaping, I am just now starting to see the cost savings. I have found the equipment that works for me and juice that I can vape all day long. I will start saving $150 per month from now on. Vape inside, no stink, feeling healthier and saving money. Vaping is a life saver for me!
Hoping I can afford to live longer than I had expected! :)

I just started vaping 3 months ago (fall/winter) and only miss the smell of analogs when I walk by smokers. Anything else I don't miss and i love that I can have people in my care without them commenting on how much it smells like smoke. However, I feel like this summer I will be challenged with missing analogs, as I REALLY enjoy sitting on the patio with a .... and my coffee, soaking up some ray. The idea is missed right now...not sure how I'll feel this summer. eek!

here's the only thing i miss: i can walk into a gas station in almost any place in the world and buy a pack of smokes. cant say that for my PV.

it can be a bit of a pain to always have to charge batteries, fill tanks, clean things, and make sure i have my stuff set up for the day before i leave...as opposed to just leaving and stopping by the corner store

but, thats NOTHING compared to the benefits...

I've thought about this subject for a while after I saw the thread. The simplicity, for sure but as I get used to vaping and as time goes by it gets easier. I now have a good routine. I kind of miss not losing track of time. I had smoking timed to the minute. 7 minutes from light up to putting it out. Now....crap, what time is it?!?!? And watching the clock until I could justify having another one (the old limiting the cigs in an effort to cut back). I always knew what time it was.

I miss all the pocket space I've lost from carrying around 5 tanks and at least 2 batteries/mods. I'm not sure what I'm going to do when summer time rolls around and I don't always Cary a coat whenever I leave the house.

I have a case that came with my first ego kit but that's kind of big to put in my shorts pocket.

But being able to breathe is nice. So I'm going to stick with vaping.:2cool:
