Every now and then I get this nasty urge in remembrance of that thick smoke, but then I remember what came after that, the sick feeling, the "heady" buzz from all those nasty toxins (whatever they were) , but it passes fast.

When they come, I try not picking up my pv, and just wait a minute, after it passes a little, then I pick up and vape :)

Just wondering if any of the rest of you still have those fast onsetting triggers like when we drive, or start to talk business, you know the ones.

Those urges ease with time. I sometimes miss the "rose-colored" glasses version of what it was like to inhale smoke! Having tried a hit or 2 a few months back, and I knew for sure it was just a that. You know, like not speaking ill of the dead...lol. I am now 6 months smoke free and can say that it was a filthy, nasty, stinky, unhealthy thing to do.
Then I smile and pick up my pv. All is well...

I used to really struggle with the urge for an analog ... particularly after a meal. But not so much, anymore.

However, just last night, I was was with smoker friends. Somewhere along the way, I had picked up one of their lighters - just fiddling with it. And all of a sudden, I realized I was trying to light my PV.

Old habits are hard to break.

Every once in a while I feel like I am missing "something", but I am pretty sure it isn't nicotine. Lately I am wired enough that it takes quite a while to get to sleep, so there's plenty of stimulant in these things, and I should probably step down to a lower level in the evening. I haven't had any urge to light up an analog, though I still keep some handy - I need to be certain that I can stare them down without temptation. But vaping is quite satisfying, and much more enjoyable. So far, so good.

    OTD,
Where do you buy your 36 mg??

I'm still working through a rather large supply of unflavored I purchased several months ago from Electronic Cigarette, e-Juice | ecigExpress . They had a sale at that time so I really stocked up.

It's been long enough since I've purchased any juice I honestly don't know who has the best prices these days. There are several vendors that carry 36mg, flavored or naked. Spend some time going through the Supporting Suppliers - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat and have fun shopping!

Sorry I couldn't be more specific.

I still miss that chemical induced feeling of being calm but alert, especially when I'm stressed out. Dopamine, Serotonin and other enzymes are changed (brain chemistry) when we quit despite getting the nicotine.

I miss my "happy place" from smoking, but don't miss the cost, stink, mess and health issues. I'm just happy to be able to blow 'smoke' and continue with some nicotine. After 8 months of being cig. free, I'm thinking about trying some snus to overcome some of that.
