The only thing that still confuses me sometimes is the "reward system". I used to do a task (laundry, dishes, cooking, whatever, etc.) then stop to rest and sit down to smoke in one area in our home, a dedicated place that had an exhaust fan in a window. Now I can go about my business daily and vape whenever and wherever I want to in my own home. That still feels awkward sometimes, like I'm missing something, but I have to remind myself...Oh, yeah, it's THIS now, and it's okay. Habits are hard to break.

Other than that, I don't miss one single thing about smoking cigarettes. I ditched them 9 months ago, after smoking for 40+ years, and I'm very grateful for this alternative, yay!

I too used the reward system after completing a project or task. Sit down, take a little break and smoke.

Once in a while, I do think about smoking after eating. That was my favorite time to smoke.

Overall I don't miss it one bit but now and again, I do think about my old habits.

I liked the nicotine rush from ciggies. However I've found that I like the more mellow delivery from vapor even more. I never knew nicotine could be this relaxing before I started vaping. Cigs were more of a quick buzz, while I can enjoy vapor for slightly longer periods. Was never big on the 2-3 cigs back-to-back as I started feeling somewhat sick from just inhaling... well... smoke for such long periods.

I felt nic sick a lot from smoking the first one or late night after smoking all day. I get nic sick kinda easy vaping too. I use 6mg at night and that works pretty good for me. I start out real slow in the morning too. Nicotine's relaxing effects are pretty potent on me. Puts me back to sleep really quick if I vape more than just a couple hits first thing. By the time I get home from work I have to jump down from 12mg or I get so so tired. It's like a narcotic to me. I'm a little worried that I won't be able to use the mech and rda I ordered except with no nic.

I miss the relative ease of smoking. If one tasted funky, I'd smash it out and light another. Zippo got filled every other day,( piggy in the blanket ;)) and always had a couple extra packs around just in case. Now I love vaping, make no mistake about that! I am totally all in on vaping, because the way I looked at it was, I really didn't want to quit anything, but knew that the road I was on was a bad one. Vaping successfully seems to require a certain level of preparedness that goes above and beyond what was required to be well stocked as a smoker. Extra wick in case I scorch my cotton in my RDA...Extra coils and batteries in case something goes kaput. Backups for the backups as they say. Totally worth it in the end, but I do miss the relative ease of the former at times.
A humorous side note for you OP. Many years ago, when my godfather was still alive, I was driving, and asked if he would mind if I smoked. He was an ex very heavy (4PAD) smoker. He said "go ahead , I love the smell of them." Now when I smell a smoker passing by, or catch a whiff, I am reminded of these words...I really don't mind the smell of tobacco, just don't care to carry it around with me anymore ;) :) :vapor:

I just miss the buzz sometimes  The whole 6+ months I've been just vaping I haven't even kind of got a nicotine buzz except for a couple weeks ago I just built a microcoil for my mini pt2 and I took a few deep lung inhales and it hit me, just a tiny bit. Still haven't got it besides that one time which kind of is upsetting, don't know why that one coil did it one time. And maybe just going outside at like 2 or 3am since I work evenings and just sitting in the calmness of everything, and my zippo
