OK, all - thank you to all of you for your invaluable help!! I pulled the trigger and got an H16 starter kit, 2 extra H16 batteries, 3 LR 510 attys and 2 drip tips!! ($105 w/free shipping at DigitalCiggz.com) I can't wait until they get here! :D

Thank you so much!!!
You will be very happy. I know I am. This thing is the best low voltage device that I have used.

...
And after switching out my 510 batts 10 times today, I was READY, lol!!
...
I just had my 1 year smoke-free anniversay last week! This is a nice "anniversary" gift to ME! :D

Yup, that setup is a big step up from std 510 batts/attys on all dimensions, nice choice! Its been fun following this thread and seeing the informed decision come out of it.

Congrats on being smoke-free for a full year!

Thanks, VM!

You know, I trusted the advice of the experts when I joined a year ago and got my 510 (after buying an overpriced mini from the state fair.) They didn't steer me wrong then and I'm confident that you all got me in the right direction to make the move up! (My dad always taught me to learn from the experience of others and I try to live by that.)

ECF members are awesome!

(And I truly hope this thread helps others, too!!)

I'm looking forward to trying it!

My brother and his wife are coming to visit in a couple of weeks and I gave them 510's back at Christmas. They both completely switched from smoking (yay!) It'll be fun to see the look on his face when he sees our new toy! LOL!

It's so ironic - the anti-ecig groups are so quick to accuse e-cigarette companies of targeting children, and her I am, almost 43 and excited to try my Octane Mochaccino-flavored liquid in my shiny new gadget!

They SO underestimate the child-like nature of vapers, lol! ;)

Yeah, they should really analyze what parameters = "A Child"

I'm waiting for my Riva batteries to charge and find I have as much patience as I did as a kid at Christmas.

Right??

My H16 vendor says he fully charges before shipping - so I won't have to suffer that wait!! :p

kristin, a big Congratulations on almost one whole year of being smart! :) And that was sooooo nice of you to buy kits for your brother and his wife. You saved two more lives!!!

Thanks! Actually, I've been smoke-free for over a year as of a week or so ago. Just coming up to my one year as an ECF member in August! :) Guess that'll make me an "ECF veteren" now, too!

My mother gifted them her kit (she was an occational smoker and decided to quit altogether) and my husband and I chipped in for another kit plus some backups for them for Christmas. They switched completely that day and haven't looked back. I'm so happy for them!

We also got my mother-in-law to get one and she's now off nicotine altogether and a few weeks ago I helped my husband's aunt order one. There's still a lot of smokers on that side I'm still working on! ;)

Well guys, we got our H16 and I have to say, so far, I'm very happy with it!

It's such a wonderous thing to go a whole day without switching batteries! :D

The only thing I'm not sure I dig is the LR atty on it. It just sucks through the liquid in buckets and I get the dry/chemical taste very quickly - so I seem to be dripping more frequently. It was actually a little better with a regular atty.

Thanks again for all of your tips and feedback!!

I was beggining to wonder if you ever got your stuff. I have to agree that I love the battery, it lasts me all day. Except when I am using a LR atty. The LT atty seems to run the battery down a lot faster, plus the throat hit is a little much alomst too harsh. It uses at least double the juice and doe not give any more vapor than a standard atty. I have found that the Hello Good Buy attys at nhaler work the best. They give me a smooth hit and a ton of vapor.

I use a 801 atomizer with my hello. They hold alot more juice and I think they have a better taste than the 510's. It does make the unit a little long and you have to use an adaptor also.
