I plan on quitting some day but for now not only am I just not smoking but I am having fun too. It has become one of the most fun hobbies/pastimes I have undertaken. Its a guilt free way to relax and make friends.

When I first started it was just a means to an end but that was before I knew about all the cool ways to modify and improve my vaping experience. Before I knew about all the yummy juice that I need to vape and all the amazing people in this community:D

I had no idea what I was getting into but it has become not only a means to an end but a major turning point in my like for various reasons.

But still do I need to vape? No and for that reason that some day I will vape my last ML of juice, pack up my mods, batteries and chargers and lovingly stow the box carrying the tokens of this stage of my life to some day find and look back and remember how genuinely satisfying and life changing my path to a healthier life through ecigs was......

But not now...I'm getting kinda sad thinking about it:(

I love to vape! I don't know if I'll ever quit though. Maybe. I forgot my ecig at home one day when I went to work and it didn't bother me so I think I could quit if I wanted to.

I'm the exact same way! I've gone out without my ecig before too and it didn't bother me at all. I've been with a group of people that went outside for a smoke and didn't really feel the need to go out. Didn't really want to.

I think I will. I hate to say I plan to because you never know. E-cigs are a miracle for me. I haven't touched an analog since I took my first vape. Incredible for someone who couldn't even make it 2 hours without an analog before.

When I ordered my first juice, I had no idea about nic levels. I just ordered some flavors. Turns out, I ordered 11mg nic level juice. It worked just fine for me! And I used to smoke about 25 analogs a day. I'm definitely planning on lowering my nic level in the future. I hope to make it to 0mg, but I also have adult ADD, so we'll see.

Right now I'm just content in knowing that my children aren't going to be smelling stinky smoke all over me when they hug me. I did not want them growing up associating that smell with their mom's hugs. Both my parents smoked, and I started smoking at 16. I don't want my kids to grow up to be smokers. I had to quit analogs for them. So, for them, I'd like to eventually quit vaping. I don't want them to grow up seeing me putting anything unnecessary in my body.

I have been vaping for just over six weeks now. I was a bad smoker - over a pack a day for 46 years. I gave up on "quitting" probably 15 years ago. I just couldn't quit - my LONGEST attempt was three weeks with nic patches. I have an EGo tank and Ego regular, and a passthrough so far.

I gave myself permission to have an analog anytime, but I never really wanted one. Whenever I got an urge, I'd take a couple of vapes and the urge would pass. A couple of co-workers saw how well I did with vaping, tried mine and then ordered their own.

One, like me was happy just to vape. After three weeks she asked me if I had tried a cigarette - which I had not. She talked me in to just "trying" one. I fired up one of my old favorites a "Camel Wide" - and it was terrible. I could only stand 4 hits and I could take no more.

Another co-worker mostly vapes, but smokes every day too. I think if you go long enough without an analog - it is hard to go back. I would have to quit vaping and work at being a smoker again, lol. No chance of that!

I have also found that I love smoking / vaping. I like the throat hit and chest hit - I find vaping is every bit as satisfying as smoking ever was for me. But with much better flavors, lol. I have no intention of quitting vaping.

But who knows - never say never....

I don't see myself quitting vaping anytime soon. The nicotine has a number of benefits that are medically proven, and as the components of the liquids we use are ingested every day, I don't really feel that I'm putting myself in any more risk by vaping then by not vaping, perhaps less due to the fact that nicotine assists with alleviating some of my depression. I'm off stinkies, I feel better, and I enjoy vaping. However for some people the nicotine benefits are less and quitting vaping is also an option, and power to them. Whatever is right for you.

Very good response. I'm pretty much the same way. Ever since I started smoking, when I even missed one cigarette break, I'd feel extremely depressed and just horrible. I know I'll continue inhaling nicotine in one form or another as long as my mental illness continues, and I feel a lot better now that I've been off cigarettes.

Vaping is like being part of something so much more than I thought I could ever have. Even though I'm not really active, I still feel like I belong.
