anywhere my broomstick takes me
Im so sorry to hear of your nephews passing..

remember, you still carry him in your heart and in your thoughts, so your always going to be keeping him close...(((sending you a hug...)))

you may have fell off the wagon, but no worry, when your ready you will crawl back on and try vaping again eh?

eta, i lost my father to cancer this past feb..was at his bedside...

when daddy took his last precious breath, I was out of my mind wanting a analog so badly..

just when i thought i would give in, i looked over to my dad laying peaceful in his hospital bed, and he had his ecig clutched in his hand...I gently removed his ecig and vaped as hard as i could..

my daddy was vaping the entire time he was in hospital..he was to sick to move to hospice, so he stayed at md anderson where he passed...

i have his smoke stick ecig..and some times when im feeling sad and blue, i take his ecig out, load it with my fav vape and vape to my hearts content

The good news is that your daddy had the comfort of his e-cig and wasn't made to lie in his bed suffering through unbearable cravings.

I was only 11 when my father died. He had leukemia and had wasted away to a shadow of his former self. He was on oxygen and not very lucid the last time I saw him alive in the hospital. But he very clearly asked for a cigarette--which in those days they would have let him have, had he not been on oxygen. Poor Dad.

Can't even imagine smoking again....took a month of smoking and vaping to stop the analogs. Honestly, I only tried e-cigs to use in airports, restaurants, etc. Never wanted to quit smoking. Now, I never want to quit vaping.

When around smokers, I love to smell the smoke. However, stale smoke on one's clothing and ashtrays really stink! Don't miss that....Vape On!

I guess I am the odd one out. If there is a cigarette around, I will sometimes have one. I have no will power! I smoke a LOT less than I used to, though. No more coughing or need to have one when I can't. Vaping has done wonders for me and I am happy with my progress
I am the same way so you are not the only odd one out.I myself am a very stressed person indeed well aren't we all i will catch myself reaching for a cigarette so i kinda have to smack myself.I am not only doing this for me but also my son.I WOULD like to be able to see him graduate high school at the least and damn if i'm not gonna go out fighting to get away from cigarettes thats my take on it:D

Bearing in mind that i am fighting off nicotine addiction, neuropathy, diabetes, arthritis, bipolar/depression, and poverty as a disabled old man, my decisions don't always make sense even to me the next day .

Unfortunately i have diabetes and the addition of Stonewall and General Snus overloaded my tolerance. i started getting neuropathy ( dead, numb nerves ) in my feet and legs and in that i would like to keep them plus the cost of getting them cut off and the cost of a good wheel chair, and the thought of having to go potty from a wheel chair has forced me to reconsider these cigarette reduction schemes. I did not have this problem with cigarettes, i just could not breathe well.

I am back to smoking mostly cigarettes but have been able to cut back from two packs a day to one pack a day.

James

August 27 smoked 19 cigs, 21 less than my usual 40 cigs a day 3931 cigarettes not smoked in 114 days by using snus, Stonewall, Joye 510, Hello 016, Ken's BoxMod, MadVapes 2xAA Box Mod, WetBox Vaporizer (ecig) and 19 bottles of ejuice partially used , $0.28 per cig X 3931 Cigs = $1100.68 diverted from cigarettes to Vaporizer (ecig). OMG I have spent over $1496 in 92 days on ecigs alone but bare in mind that i have 3 months worth of supplies and my old cigarette cost was $330 a month

I smoked PallMalls, cigars, and occasionally a pipe for almost 20 years. Only reason I quit was because my wife wanted me to. I took up e-cigs a month after my last smoke because it was getting incredibly hard not to light one up, especially since I spend a lot of time around smokers.

Haven't had an analog in over a year, but every now and then I find myself really missing a nice pipe or cigar. Guess old habits die hard.

I can guarantee you that if I hadn't found out about e-cigs (which happened by complete accident in my case) I would be back smoking right now.

About 3 months in, I decided to try a cigarette, just to find out if I was really done with them. Every other time I had quit in the past, that first cigarette was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Not this time - I put it out after 2 puffs - it was completely disgusting.

It's weird. I have not had one analog since my first day of vaping (3/31/09) and I can't say I have a craving. But, I have 2 pags of unopened Pall Malls in the garage and over the past week or so I have been really curious to light one up "just to see" what it tastes like.

Again, I wouldn't say a craving, but it's really hard not to try it again "for old times sake"
