I still feel odd at times. I think I'll probably ask at non-smokers homes, etc. I'm just 2 wks in, so I'm just really starting to think about it more. When my hubs and I went to eat, we still sat in smoking section, but have not went to non smoking one yet. My sil uses hers at our local Wal-Marts and no one has said a word to her! I bought a V4L starter and love it. I never thought I could have a half carton of smokes sit in my house for this long and not touch or crave one. I'm trying to figure out who to give them to, but I'll show them my ecig too. Thanks again MX5, if you're lurking around!

I'm in a little town here in Arizona. And I've got a Blu.

I use it pretty much everywhere. My boss at work lets me use it indoors because she totally approves of the fact that I quit smoking and understands the difference between my Blu and an analog. The bars let me use it, and so do the restaurants. I get a few looks here and there from other people around, but so far, no complaints. More like people coming up to me and saying, "Hey! Is that one of those Electronic Cigarettes?"

It's nice to spark interest. I'm waiting to see who I get hooked.:p

i work from home, so i'm always indoors vaping away. the only difference is that i can bring my PV into bed or watch TV while vaping which i didn't do when i smoked.

my BF vapes at his desk at work, but he'll still go outside every once in a while to enjoy the weather or to hang out with his smoker buddies.

At work, I still go outside. The one place I vape where I tried hard never to smoke, my car! I bought a new one a few years back and tried to pretty much never smoke in it and did well but it is so nice to vape away on the way to work, nice not to worry about window film, ash, smell, added depreciation to my vehicle and all that jazz.

I go outside to vape just for a change of scenery. I never smoked in my house but now vape inside like a mad man LOL. As far as out in public I vape everywhere I go. The only catch is be prepared to deal with people giving you the stink eye due to the fact the your doing something "different". I've never been hassled but have had a few people ask questions just out of curiosity. I carry a few few V4L cards with me to hand out when I'm out and about since they have a neat little explanation on the back.

...be prepared to deal with people giving you the stink eye...

LOL! I know exactly what you mean! I was sitting at a restaurant yesterday vaping away waiting for my food, and I got a few dirty looks. But the owner of the restaurant never said a word to me, and walked past me a few different times while I was blowing out huge clouds.

I wonder if the dirty looks are scowls of hatred, or people are just jealous because they don't have on.

Oh well.... I just grin at them and :vapor:

LOL! HECK NO! When we first started vaping we swore we would so that it would be like smoking, nothing more...because we THOUGHT it was so expensive. Turns out, it is cheap as heck...and after just a few days we started feeling like idiots going outside just to push a button...so we started vaping indoors. We used to smoke once an hour, now the e-cig is out my mouth all the time! :) However, I do vape outdoors, but only because I'm out there doing gardening and such and cannot bare to leave my battery inside all alone, it might get cold, and lonely... :/ HEEHEE Now I totally get why people want the lanyards...hmmm...there is another order in my midst, brb!

I force myself to go outside to get away from the desk for a while ;). Most of the time I vape indoors though.

My wife works from home and having use to go outside all the time for a smoke she is the same way now. She looks at the clock and realizes that its been hrs since she's got away from the pc unlike with smoking it was counting down the minutes to the next opportunity to go out and smoke.

When I first got my original blu kit and quit the real things, I was trying to substitute the e-cig for a real cig, so I would step outside to vape. For some reason, I found that doing this made me want a real cig even more. Now, I have started chain vaping in front of the PC now, so my total nic levels are probably higher than they ever were.
