And I shall refrain from calling you alien traveler or sir. For they are names.

But reporters at Fox news, preachers and undergraduates... any person... friend or foe... has a name that's proper to call them by.

Lol
There aren't any reporters at FOX, MSN, CNN etc.
No journalists either.
Just "personalities" that read a script.

Lol

You got me there.

Though the point still remains that they're often called by their given proper names.

Does prohibition was good for US government? No, it was imposed by the will of society. .

Not society.

An infinitesmally small group of society that was very vocal forced the hand of the government.

THEN the government imposed prohibition on the masses.

BECAUSE the masses didn't have the will, organization or the time to oppose the tiny yet vocal group.

They damn sure found the resources for opposition when it came time to practice sobriety though.

No, prohibition was about money.
Illegal alcohol sales lined the pockets of corrupt politicians while funding flowed to agencies tasked with "fighting a war on alcohol".
It was sold to the people under the guise of religion and right for profit.

The will of the people eventually overcame it.

Doesn't that sound familiar?

Now that you mention it, I believe both of our recollections are correct.

And yes... it DOES sound familiar.

Are you people are all idealists?
Do you really believe all wrongs are from a govermnent?
What about society? What about other people believes? Does prohibition was good for US government? No, it was imposed by the will of society. Look around, be rational. You do annoy other people. Sure, government wants more money, sure BT and BP want their money, but it is "other people" whose determination to bury vaping is deciding factor. Be realistic.

Well no actually. Our government was designed, in part, to protect us from mob rule. In present day, government now seeks to impose mob rule -- see the difference? It is the government that is wrong by pandering to the masses.

If we capitulate we will all eventually end up in cages of our own making because everything annoys "someone." We have a written Constitution and Federal Courts to enforce it. If there's a valid reason to ban vaping in National Parks based on some provable real harm to bystanders, ban it. If bystanders simply don't like it, tough. You can find some group somewhere who oppose and want to ban anything so if we go that road, soon enough just about everything will be banned.

Personally I think children should be banned from National Parks -- they are generally so noisy and misbehaved and annoying lol.

Indoors, outdoors? Doesn't matter.

As long as Dr. F.'s study on second hand vapor is out there and not being disputed, then in REALITY, there exists the distinct likelihood that exhaled breath is worse for fellow humans than exhaled vapor.

The solution would be everyone wears a mouth filter. Kinda hard to vape when you are wearing that, and kinda hard to inhale other people's exhaled breath when wearing that.

Short of wearing that, then around 95% of the claims of those who say "we don't know" are a) mostly ignorance and b) are shot down by what we do know about exhaled breath compared to exhaled vapor.

So, as I said in other thread on this same topic, unless park staff is wearing those filters while thinking their stance has merit on exhaled vapor, I would take it as very sure sign that they don't really care about exhaled vapor.

But.. I like watching people getting annoyed by children. I think it is funny.

I have been complimented many times taking my kids to a Reds game using a clients season tickets. The 2 inebriated older men behind me compliment my wife and I on how well behaved are children are compared to the other kids.. and adults for that matter that use the seats. They even bought my wife and I a beer the last game we went to.

Chantix is a dangerous drug.... a good friend of mine took it and he is no longer with us.......
Sorry to hear that :(
That's what really gets me upset is that the Pharma companies just keep putting dangerous drugs out there,
and the FDA is more worried about trying to regulate Vaping
Seems like every other day I new TV commercial comes out about a lawsuit over some drugs side effect that ruined or ended peoples lives. :glare:
Even the testing is a joke on these drugs. Try to find the truth about the Chantix testing before it was released.
If you do happen on the truth on the webs, you have to ask yourself, how did it even get approved and why is it still on the market. :grr:

Sorry to hear, bud. I can't "like" that post at all.

That's what really gets me upset is that BIG BUSINESS just keep putting dangerous CONSUMABLES out there,
and the FDA is more worried about trying to regulate THEIR SAFER ALTERNATIVE COMPETITION OUT OF EXISTENCE

Edits in all caps.
I agree.
