Thanks for posting the link DC Its always interesting listening to Bill's insights as he's been involved for a very long time and understands the background and how things really work. Hoping he's right about the positive impact the involvement of the vaping community at the hearing in Dec and in sending recent comments could have on proposed regulations. Was also good to be reminded that this isn't the first time the FDA has given us a timetable for when we would see their proposed deeming order and regs and both previous times they didnt follow through and pushed the date futher into the future.

I hope a lot of people that haven't been around for the past few years will listen to what he has to say. There's a lot of history and background that's gotten us to this point and knowing it and understanding it helps to understand what can happy in our future.

I'm currently listening to this and find myself annoyed by the fact that the opposition seems to need FDA approval... you can watch TV any time of day here and "be sold" on dietary, sleep, sexuality, masculinity, etc. supplements that are sold and if you see/read the small print it reads something to the effect of, "Statements not verified by the FDA... Not Approved by the FDA... Consult your Doctor Before Using". WTH! Where's the FDA on these things? Nowhere because the money for "them" is not there. Infuriating, to say the least, but not surprising that at the end of the day they'll do whatever makes the "powers-that-be" the most money, instead of actually accepting and leaving alone ground-up ingenuity and acceptance of alternatives. Hmmm.... seems to be a trend.
